I heard that this game is finally coming to playstation today. I'm a huge fan of disco elysium and heard this is pretty close to it in game play and writing quality. Does anyone know if it's coming digitally or just physically? I have a digital only console and currently don't see it in the store page.

Hey gang, Welcome to the Subreddit of Hollow Knight: Silksong. A Metroidvania, action, platformer and the sequel to Hollow Knight! Here you can post everything Silksong! Release date: Probably by 2025 I don't know. Bait used to be believable
Some people in the other posts are literally comparing silksong to Star Citizen and saying that Silksong "clearly" has dev issues, and how the game "clearly" has major problems, and calling leths messages insipid. It's insane, if a video game being delayed hurts you that bad you need to log off. Yes we all agree TC has bad communication, and we wish we had more news or concrete idea on when Silksong is going to come out, but like, at the end of the day it should not be making you angry or causing you any strife, if it is, you need to forget about silksong at least until it comes out. Also to anyone who legit thinks an indie dev which consists of literally only 3 people taking 5 years to make a video game is clear evidence for dev issues, you have no idea about anything related to game dev and shouldn't speak on it.
Some good points I think all of us in this sub should remember, TC is a dev studio of 3 people, contracting out a single PR member and a single man to do all the soundtrack for the entire game, meaning even if you count Christopher Larkin as someone helping make the game it's only 4 people, and the game was only announced 5 years ago. As well as this game isn't only coming out on one platform, it's coming to xbox, playstation, switch, and PC, possibly all at once.
Yes the lack of communication isn't great, but honestly the amount of people who are going insane legit trying to act like the game's development is in the shitter is wild.
Hey,
Building off the design principles of the Little Big Planet series, Dreams was one of the coolest, most accessible creation tools ever made. And by all accounts should be Media Molecule's crowning achievement, but due to a number of factors (including being released near the end of the PS4's lifespan and it's reliance on motion controls), the game never really found an audience.
While it's perfectly understandable that Media Molecule would want to move on to new things, according to they were well on their way to making both PS5 and a PC version of the game. And with the video games industry being absolutely awful at preserving things, there's a good chance that Dreams will forgotten about completely.
We need to strike right now, while the iron is hot; to let Media Molecule know that people will buy a PC or PS5 port of Dreams, and they have a responsibility to make that happen.

It's currently unclear if Hi-Fi Rush will be making its way to the Switch or not either, but sources have suggested that the game will be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, rather than the original Switch, so it could be a few more months before an official announcement.
For context, Tom Henderson also posted the hint on Twitter about an Xbox -> PlayStation port dropping soon (which turned out to be Hi-Fi Rush). Likewise, this lines up with what NateDrake & lolilolailo mentioned not too long ago on ResetEra. And this was posted before the big Xbox press release about what games were coming to what.

Most AAA games hit PlayStation, but PC is still the king of indie titles. Lots of great indie games hit PlayStation as well, but more than a few have been announced or released that either haven't announced a PlayStation release, or skipped console entirely.
I wanted to hear from the sub what indie titles you wish would come to PlayStation.
Here's a few of mine:
Antonblast
Skate Story
Citizen Sleeper 2
Esoteric Ebb
Pizza Tower
Replaced
Turbo Overkill (announced for PS4/5 but not sure where the console port is or if it's still coming?)
Edit: Genuine question, why are so many people downvoting this post? Is my question offensive or inflammatory in some way?
The PlayStation 2 (PS2) is Sony's second game console. Released in 2000, it officially replaced the PlayStation 1 in Sony's lineup, offering backwards compatibility with the PS1.
A community all about Baldur's Gate III, the role-playing video game by Larian Studios. BG3 is the third main game in the Baldur's Gate series. Baldur's Gate III is based on a modified version of the Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition (D&D 5e) tabletop RPG ruleset. Gather your party and venture forth!
I feel that Baldurs Gate 3 would become THE fantasy RPG of the 9th generation of consoles the way that Witcher 3 was for the 8th generation and Skyrim was for the 7th generation.
Obviously all of these are very different games but Skyrim and Witcher 3 both defined their respective generations regardless of what your personal opinion on them would be. They were the most talked about RPG games in their respective console eras, got a huge amount of commerical acclaim and then exploded in popularity winning a huge amount of awards.
Both Skyrim and Witcher 3 are now in the top 10 best selling games of all time. Both of these titles have had extremely long legs and become one of the first titles that a person buying PlayStation or Xbox of that era or upgrading PC to that era's standard would buy first similar to GTA 5. I think Baldurs Gate 3 would also have similarly very long legs sales wise due to how much it is associated with quality.
I am not including Elden Ring in this discussion because I think Soulsborne games have now kind of formed their own distinct genre even though that title will also be one of the defining titles of the 9th generation of consoles.

I just need to say this. PubG/Krafton fix your f***ing game bro. It’s kinda unacceptable right now.
Like I am pretty patient as a player. I have put in more hours than most. I saw ChocoTaco have his public freakout and eventual “break” with Pubs over this very issue. And I remember thinking “it’s not that bad it only happens every once in a while”.
Well when it starts happening to you it’s different I guess, because I am loosing my mind over this turd of a game. Us PlayStation players are getting wrung out right now. My game crashed 3 times in the last 45 min. Before anyone suggests it, it’s not my console, I have a new PS5. Something is just happening right now and it seems to only be happening to the PS players. Xbox players chime in if you are experiencing this too.
The truth of the situation is PubG/Krafton just doesn’t care and it is starting to push me and many other players away from the game. They are understandably focused on generating content that brings them income for other projects. I get it, this is your cash cow… but the state of the game is disappointing.
I have had multiple players suggest other games recently and it freaks me out, because I love this game. It’s perfectly imperfect and right now it feels unplayable, because it is. In a given night (I play most nights) my game will crash at least 5 or more times in a 4hr sesh. Most of the time, my character is just standing in a field when I close and relaunch the game. So there’s that, but it’s still f**king not okay. This is every night! And it has an impact in the game… sometimes I’m not so lucky, sometimes I’m driving my whole squad into circle or in the middle of a battle.
Look the point of this is, I just want Pubs to acknowledge it and make a plan to make it better. Because if not… I’ll be forced to ask to speak to the manager.

The official Subreddit for Persona 3 Reload. A 2024 remake of Persona 3.
As the title says, I just finished Persona 3 Reload and am now watching the credits as I write this. This game is truly a masterpiece. It is such a good remake for Persona 3. I've been a fan of the persona franchise for I wanna say 4 or 5 ish years now or so if my memory serves me right. The game that got me into the series was base Persona 5. I got into it from the suggestion of a friend of mine and that game made me adore the series. The next game in the series I got was 4 Golden, unfortunately I have yet to complete it because I don't have a computer good enough to handle it, which is what I got it on. After that, I got Persona 5 Royal, which holds a very special place in my heart when it comes to video games. Before Reload was announced, I played portable on my playstation, I almost went through the full game, I got to the end where I had to climb the rest of Tartarus, but never did end up finishing it. And then Reload got announced, and I decided to just wait till that came out since it would be a better experience to finish Persona 3 on. I pre-ordered Reload, which is the 2nd game I've ever pre-ordered in my life, the 1st one being Borderlands 3. Now just like Persona 5 and Royal, Persona 3 reload holds a very special place in my heart, it was a blast the whole way through. It took me 93 hours to complete the game, and those 93 hours were very worth it. All the things that were added in Reload really made the Persona 3 experience so much better. The new hang out events for the male S.E.E.S members were amazing, the quality of life additions were amazing, and everything else that was added. throughout this playthrough, I was able to almost get every single achievement, now the only ones I'm missing are maxing all social links and unlocking them all. Speaking of social links, the social links I was able to max out in my playthrough, excluding automatic ones for the story are as follows
Bunkichi and Mitsuko
Yukari
Kazushi
Maya
Keisuke
Yuko
Maiko
Bebe
Tanaka
Mutatsu
Mamoru
Akinari
and Aigis
Throughout all the social links I did, some unfinished, my 4 favorite ones were Bunkichi and Mitsuko, Maiko, Bebe, and Akinari. At the end of the game, after the battle with Nyx, I loved being able to go and talk to the social links I maxed out, some having a different person talk to me like Maiko's father being the one talking to Makoto. I loved hearing from Bunkichi and Mitsuko that Gekkoukan was going to replant the persimmon tree on a hill.
During the battle with Nyx, before you go into the moon to seal Nyx, I loved the touch of all your maxed social links speaking about you and giving you hope when you are taken into the velvet room to speak with Elizabeth and Igor. Something like that really captivated me, seeing the social links I worked for to max out giving me strength was amazing. It really felt like I was fighting for more than just the world, I was also fighting to protect the bonds I had made throughout the game.
The ending up on the roof was so surreal. I already knew what was gonna happen because before I even played portable I had already watched videos for both persona 3 and 4, including the story and endings for both games. But seeing the ending in all it's remake glory was so good. Knowing that before that, Makoto was slowly dying because of sealing Nyx, made the ending that much more sad to watch. But, it is nice knowing that the last things he saw, were the friends he made throughout the game, going to the roof to see him and Aigis to fulfill the promise of meeting up on graduation day.
All in all, Persona 3 Reload is a masterpiece of a game, and was amazing to play the whole way through.
I assume some of you are aware, especially in the higher divisions, but there seems to be a lack of unique teams this year, more than ever before.
So what I done was playing, all 20 of my champs games and take a screenshot on my PlayStation of every team my face and I’ve built the most common team below using the players, I faced the most.
The brackets next to the names will indicate how many times I played them in my 20 matches.
(Games where people quit from kickoff not included) Formation 433
Defence: Casillas (7) Cafu (16) VVD (14) maldini (11) Davies (13)
Midfields:
Sawa (15) Zidane (11) Bruno Fernándes (12)
Attackers: Mbappe (15) Eusebio (13) Henry/best(10)
Honourable mentions: Saliba (7) Havertz (5) Athenea (6) Messi toty (5) Guillit (8) Zico (13) Pina (5) Ronaldinho (4) Ronaldo/hamm (3) Adapo (2)
(I haven’t included random evo cards or pack pulled toty’s)
The problem? Every player in the team above other than Casillas is obtainable through a squad building challenge. Although I am more than happy for people to have access to Sbc players, and for squad builders to be something to grind towards. The players they are releasing or have already released are way too good for people not to use them. They are also way better than a lot of the promo cards available at the moment. I don’t understand how a handful of these future star cards, RTTF and fantasy FC cards that are able to compete with a place to be in peoples teams, are just unbelievably rare and unobtainable on the market.
This is a rant or really a complaint it’s more of a thread for discussion as to what they can do to make people think about changing their team up.
/r/truegaming is a subreddit dedicated to meaningful, insightful, and high-quality discussion on all topics gaming.
So Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming/Xbox confirmed today what I think we already knew that 4 games will be coming to other platforms in this video.
At 1:00 he says:
"So we made the decision that we are going to take 4 games to the other consoles. Just 4 games. Not a change to our fundamental exclusive strategy. We're making this decision for specific reasons."
When asked what these 4 games were, Phil doesn't really disclose what they were but did confirm that they wouldn't be either Starfield or Indiana Jones. He simply says that they're more than a year old and that two games would be service-based games while the other two would be "smaller games that weren't really meant to be kind of platform exclusives."
He also says this at around 2:45:
And I do have a fundamental belief that over the next 5 to 10 years. That exclusive games, games that are exclusive to one piece of hardware, are going to be a smaller and smaller part of the games industry.
I can't remember if it was a week or however long ago, but this seems to corroborate a lot of the discussion that Xbox was going to put their exclusives on Playstation and Nintendo Switch. Hence why Microsoft put on this conference.
I'm not sure if this discussion already happened yet here on , but I think it could be worthwhile to talk about. Especially sense Microsoft is testing the waters here and if it's successful, you're probably going to see a slew of other exclusive titles come to PS5 and Switch.
I mean, Starfield isn't coming now, but who is to say that it's not going to be available on PS5 after that 1 year period?
TL;DR: The Microsoft Gaming/Xbox CEO, Phil Spencer, confirms that 4 exclusive Xbox titles are coming to Switch and/or PS5. Curious about anyone's thoughts about it on this subreddit.

Slave Zero X not only allows the cult classic to experience a revival but it also pays homage to the dystopian anime’s that served as its inspiration.
- -
Slave Zero X is a solid hack-and-slash and is an easy recommendation to fans of the genre.
- -
Incredibly stylish, beautifully violent, wonderfully voice-acted, surprisingly emotional and incredibly enjoyable: Slave Zero X is an absolute indie powerhouse.
- -
While Shou can be a bit difficult to handle, Slave Zero X promises plenty of action for those willing to fight for their bloodlust. Its endless hordes can be a bit of a grind, but those willing to sharpen their swords and cut their teeth will enjoy executing this cannon fodder in style.
- -
a unique and engaging gaming experience that absolutely shreds and I just kept coming back for more!
- -
Slave Zero X will get frustrating, but as we have learned over the years: sometimes a tough experience can yield the greatest rewards.
- -
Slave Zero X is a fantastic character action game that's rewarding, challenging, and has clear focus. Its deep combat mechanics, paired with an excellent biopunk presentation, elevate it above many similar releases while offering a fairly replayable campaign. It's brought down by a lack of movelist section in-game or in practice, and some gameplay quirks keep it from reaching the heights of the titans in the genre.
- -
Slave Zero X has a few too many rough spots to make it an easy recommendation, but it isn't a terrible game. When you get into the groove of combos, cancels and bursts, it can be incredibly satisfying to leave the forces of fascism in bloody chunks on the ground, but the effort it takes to reach that point feels like too much to be worth it. If you're in the mood for a bloody, execution-intensive beat-'em-up, then Slave Zero X might be for you, but it might be tough if you're used to playing modern beat-'em-ups.
I recently got a PlayStation 5 over the holidays, and although Xbox will likely always be my preferred way to play, I can't help but notice that the PlayStation ecosystem has some really nice social features that are missing on Xbox. The ability to go live and stream your gameplay directly to YouTube is one such feature that seems to weirdly be absent on Xbox.
Currently to get my gameplay onto my YouTube channel I have to MacGyver a solution via using a seperate PC to capture my gameplay via OBS, or pay a subscription on stream lab (which I haven't explored). However, on PS5, you can select go live in game and immediately broadcast on your personal YouTube channel, which also has the benifit of the footage being downloadable and editable for a later videos.
My question is why do we not have YouTube gameplay streaming on Xbox, and how do we convince the Xbox team to implement it?

It's easy to get a kick out of seeing how high the scores can get, but the game is as much about the gambles you take and the planning along the way. There's a deceptive simplicity to Balatro due to its roots in poker, and it uses that to its advantage to reel you in while regularly finding new ways to surprise you.
- - Portuguese -
Balatro emerges as a captivating example in the roguelike genre, skillfully blending poker elements with deck-building structure. The simplicity of its rules, combined with the strategic depth offered by the varied modifiers, creates an immersive experience. For strategy game aficionados, roguelike fans, or even for those who have never ventured into poker, the title offers a rich, challenging and, above all, fun experience, promising hours of challenge and satisfaction.
- -
To put it in terms as simple as the game itself, Balatro is the best deckbuilding roguelike I've played. And I've played as many as there are cards in a deck (almost).
- -
No two games of Balatro are ever the same, which is only one of the reasons why we love this poker roguelike so much. Sure, it’s annoying if your run doesn’t get off the ground — it’s easy to fail early on if you can’t get your hands on a good Joker. But when you’re in the swing of things, scoring tens of thousands with just one hand, you’ll feel like the most powerful card baron there ever was. Simple and devious, Balatro is, quite frankly, brilliant — and I’m going to be playing this for months to come.
- -
While the idea of a poker roguelike might sound like a niche game, the flair and fun found within Balatro makes it an absolute must-play for fans of the genre. Breaking the rules of poker to score millions of chips in a single hand was a rush, and I was always chasing ways to push it even further beyond. While there are a few times you can feel snubbed by the luck of the draw, these are wildly overshadowed by the moments where you hit it big.
- Lyle Carr -
Balatro is a masterfully crafted Roguelike card game, that's easy to learn thanks to its poker mechanics but hard to master.
- -
Wielding nothing more than a deck of cards and a poker-themed twist on proceedings, developer LocalThunk has conjured something incredible and awe-inspiring with Balatro. What starts as a relatively-novel twist on the deckbuilding format quickly blossoms into an experience that's equal parts methodical, experimental, chaotic but satisfying all the same. A game that rewards clever thinking, mathematical meddling and having the courage to be just that bit braver in uncovering just how far one can push its systems at play. Wherein success and failure alike stand as equally memorable moments to build off. A paradigm for what roguelikes and deckbuilders should aspire towards, Balatro is addictive, expertly-crafted and the new front-runner for what is easily the best gaming experience of 2024.
- - Portuguese -
Balatro is a fantastic showcase of how to create complexity by establishing a simple ruleset and building on it. LocalThunk’s debut title turns the simplest of poker hands something magical with modifiers and special cards and jokers. At the same time, it pushes the player to try new strategies with its bosses and to skip blinds for a bigger reward. I felt like I barely scratched its surface and I still yearn for more.
Get ready to devote all your free time to it and watch your “perfect” strategy fall apart just to try it again and again. A must have for poker, deckbuilder and strategy fans.
- -
A surprisingly-effective roguelike variation on poker, for those who enjoy it, and a pretty unique challenge
- -
Now, please, let me play my Balatro in peace. I got an idea for a sick flush strat that I want to try out. So I'll y'all later.
- -
A roguelike deckbuilder debut already worth of joining Slay the Spire and Monster Train at the King's table. Essential.
- -
Balatro is an incredibly clever indie gem that uses the bones of regular poker to build an incredibly approachable and fiendishly addictive new experience. There's a wonderfully slick core to this one, building decks and taking on dealers as you add wild special cards and variables to your pack is trance-inducing stuff and, backed by a fantastically understated soundtrack and perfect visuals, it makes for one of the first proper, actual, absolute must-play games of 2024.
- -
Between the main game, seeded runs, and a Challenge mode to really test your skills, there's endless fun to be drawn from Balatro. With so many variables to experiment with, sleek presentation, and hypnotically addictive gameplay, this is easily among the best deckbuilders, and possibly among the best roguelikes, we've played yet.
- -
A clever roguelike card game about cheating your way to victory, Balatro is a generous and mesmeric take on poker with endless strategic possibilities.
- -
With its unlockable deck types, tricky economy, advanced joker concepts, challenge runs, and ascension-like “stake” system, Balatro offers countless hours to engage its treacherous machine of diversion. If this was preinstalled with Windows in lieu of Microsoft’s mandatory, productivity-wrecking Solitaire back in the 90s, modern civilization as we know it could have very well ground to a halt. For fans of deckbuilders, Balatro is an addictively delicious, menacing creation which devours hours without mercy. It should be handled with great care.
- -
For a deck building rogue-like, a concept I have seen so many times over, Balatro thrives within its style.
- -
I am not exaggerating when I state that Balatro is a masterpiece of a game, a bonafide achievement in gameplay design. A single developer was able to take the core principles of poker, add in a ton of roguelike elements on top a brand new gameplay loop, and come up with something so addictive it will possibly ruin your productivity at work. This damn thing is basically a virtual drug. It’s so simple, so inviting, and downright impossible to put down.
- -
Balatro is my new gaming obsession, I frigging love it. Deckbuilding roguelikes have had some phenomenal games over the years. Balatro reaches the lofty peak of Slay the Spire and has me hooked even harder than that incredible game ever did. You should buy it, now. Buylatro!
The whole point of a video game is to be entertained and have fun. Don't let anyone ruin that for you.
So, I am an average 27 year old middle class guy without a decently paying job, like every other 90's kid it's always been my dream to own a console or a gaming PC in my lifetime. I have loved gaming since I was a child and gaming is one of the things in my life I am still passionate about. I remember dreaming about owning a PS-2 and I was so obsessed with getting one, but parents and their unrealistic % goals never made it possible to have one. The feeling of getting to play the Playstation-2 at a friends or relatives house without time limit of gaming cafes was something else. But, Before I knew it, i was in class 10th then 12th board exams, after that college and then life. That 15 year old kid never got his dream fulfilled and there was always this void of missing out playing the most recent AAA titles watching youtube videos of gameplays only satisfied the dream of owning a console that much.
Fast forward 2023, I got a call from my cousin brother who knows I love gaming and he said that one of his online gaming buddy is selling off his xbox series S as he is buying an PS-5 and luckily got a sweet deal in 16k with a controller and 6months of gamepass ultimate, I had around 12k saved up and somehow managed another 4k and then got it delivered to my home and my god! The 15 year old me was back again jumping up and down. I always knew that I can't afford these expensive games worth 3-4k but the gamepass library along with some games which the previous owner had already bought got me an amazing package and I played my xbox for hours and hours, Forza Horizon 5, Cod MW 1 & 2, Farcry 5, hifi rush overwatch to name some were some of my fav. titles.
To sum up, I want to thank Microsoft for making Xbox series S in such a budget range even though i have brought a second hand device and giving so much flexibility with the Gamepass. That 15 year old kid thanks you, his dream of owning a gaming console is complete and he is playing the games of which he could only see the gameplay videos of on youtube and only wonder when will he be able to play such games. Hearing the news of xbox might kill its console business has made me a little sad, because I was a playstation fanboy but xbox has just made me a fan for lifetime. If this reaches the team, this is not me but that 15 year old kid who thanks you for making his childhood dream possible. If you read it this far, feel free to share your story in comments below.
Hi-Fi RUSH is an action rhythm game developed by Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks.
For what Phil spencer said, they are porting 4 games into other consoles. And apparently, Hi-Fi Rush is one of them. People found files that made references about Playstation and switch, so is most likely a Ps4/5 and switch port.
Now, the playstations can run that game....but the switch version. Would it be a native one or cloud?
What are your thougts?
This subreddit is for the discussion of the various Rune Factory titles, a set of games that are a combination of a JRPG and Harvest Moon.
Steam's having a Sale on 3, 4 and 5 Special Editions and I'm looking at the reviews. Mostly - Very Positive *But one popular review on 4 is very vocal on how bad the port to PC is. For the record I've played so-called "Bad" PC ports and while they aren't perfect they're playable, and that's fine for me. So anyone with experience on PC? I could really use your inputs. Thnx.
