Edit 2 - I'm putting this edit at the top because I feel it's more important. There is a lot of hate being thrown at the devs right now, most of it is not fair and unwarranted. Remember these are the people that made this game which we all enjoy, they work their asses off every day, spend time on weekends responding to all of us(would you want to work on weekends?) and supporting not only the game but the community, and I can't imagine it's an easy job.

Did they screw up a bit? Yeah I don't think they should have banned me and shown special treatment to streamers, but I don't blame them in the slightest for the special treatment just the extent at which it was given. They are a small company who released an early access game(a game with tons more potential and deserves more players). Advertising for this game heavily isn't in the cards I imagine, so right now the only advertisement they can get is from streamers realistically. There is a balance to be maintained between how they interact with streamers and supporting their stream, they have a symbiotic relationship, there is nothing wrong with that it's just the nature of the beast and for us to get upset over the fact that they recognize this is unfair to them and the streamers. The only issue is the balance may have tilted in favor of streamers too far recently. For us to act like people that broadcast their game to thousands of people shouldn't have special interaction with the devs is crazy, it's only natural for them to talk with these people because they have a large following and voice in the community.

I see comments like the devs are trying to kill this game and the devs are doing everything they can to kill this game, this community is filled with a lot of hate and a lot of negativity, negativity that was not present for the first month or so. I won't get too much more into that as to why it happened, but know that the devs only want this game to succeed...it's their job, and they care about the success more than every one of us, and have shown to care about the game and community on a personal level not just a financial one.

Instead of trying to burn down the building and piss on the ashes, let's put out the flames, rebuild, be more positive, and help the game grow and improve.

Also, I'm sure I'm gonna get people pointing to posts I made yesterday about how I specifically called out the devs or how I was helping in fanning the flames, and you might be right. I was pissed. I was pissed and I made posts that might have perpetuated some hate as well. This edit is me trying to make amends and cool things down. If you're reading this post for the first time read the stuff below and read it with this in mind, that I enjoy the game and want the game to improve, I don't want the game to die or any bullshit like that I only want it to get better.

My in game name is demarini. WAIT. Before you automatically assume I'm a stream sniping dickhead who only wants to troll, realize that the only person you have heard that from is Anthony Kongphan, the same person that calls everyone that gives him a close fight, or anyone that finds him in the open, a stream sniper.

I won't discuss my ban specifically, but the events leading up to it. Xaviant staff has told me they handle these matters internally, so I will try to avoid that to the best of my ability to avoid my thread getting locked again. I think this pastebin is still okay, it discusses my side of the story, my point of view of the events, and how lies and rumors led to a good community member being banned.

http://pastebin.com/BBt5h926

It's very long, I put a lot of thought into it, so I'd appreciate you read it.

In this video, Anthony admits that he hast he power to ban someone(though I think this was an exaggeration/joke), but then specifically says Xaviant staff, who I assume was Xentax, had asked him if he wanted me banned. Up until this point I can't imagine anything even close to what I could have done to warrant a ban. Also, dude, your charity event has been going on for a month. What no one is allowed to shoot you with an alarm gun for a month? Get over yourself Anthony a lot of people want to play with you because they enjoy your stream, how you don't see that is beyond me.

Why do I assume it was Xentax? Well he is active in his chat, a moderator of his chat, and he even posted this in his chat. Yep that's right, a Xaviant staff member supported report brigading a player in their community. Wanna know what's funny? I asked him, Xentax, what the deal was. He said I had also received a number of reports outside of Anthony. I assumed it was for a taser build that I was using, but now I see what actually happened.

Another thing is, I have an alt account I got from a gift, I use this account to jump into teams games and make it essentially a 2v1(I still am able to win somewhat frequently, it's more fun this way). This alt account, that is stationary the whole game and on occasion killed by me or someone else, got banned. Can someone explain why an account that has zero inputs when getting in the game gets banned for griefing? As far as they are concerned it could be my quadriplegic brother watching the game. The only explanation is Anthony Kongphan gave the names, and Xentax banned the names.

What are the implications here? Do we have to be super careful when getting in games with streamers now? We can't do anything that might considered annoying against them because they might get us banned? How does this work? Xaviant with this and other bans in my opinion lost a lot of credibility, and a lot of trust. Whenever I see twitch in a name now, even if I don't get unbanned when the ban is up, I will be cautious and play significantly differently. I probably won't use alarm gun, smoke bombs, blow gun, or any weapons that might upset them.

Edit 1: So anthony fanboys are going to come in here and link to this and say that I deleted it because I did something wrong. This is how stupid these people are. They all viewed these comments and started downvoting them(brigading is illegal btw). I was positive for every comment I posted at one point, and then quickly went heavily negative. I deleted the posts because I didn't want to deal with that. They all assume, after brigading my posts, that I deleted them not because their massive brigading, but because of some sort of retraction lol.

Also, when you read the comments nothing is contradictory to what I've said here. I admit, I was using unnecessary and hateful language, but Anthony was ruining any name I had because he was salty over getting killed. I was angry and rightfully so, but that's no excuse for the words I used. BUT the message is still the same. Anthony calls me a stream sniper with no evidence, and I admit to queue sniping but not actively viewing the stream, stream sniping. We need to differentiate those two terms btw.
