Your content is welcome, however it should not account for more than ten percent of your submissions. It seems that you've been submitting a lot of your own content to reddit recently, so this post has been removed.
r/retrogaming is for posts about vintage gaming: 5th gen platforms and earlier. Dreamcast allowed. Discussion about newer platforms is allowed as discussion, just not as a top-level post.
Reddit is a link aggregation service at its core. It preserves content and information. Because live streams expire, they are not examples of good content for this subreddit and are not allowed.

No "How Much is [X] Worth?" Posts
Use Pricecharting or similar pricing services, or eBay sold listings for a method of determining the value of your games, consoles or paraphernalia.

Collection/Pickup Posts
Collection/pick-up/battlestation posts may be posted on Saturday and Sunday only. Provide a prompt with your post for discussion as body text within the post itself, or as a comment under the stickied automoderator comment. No graded games (e.g. WATA, VGA, CGC).
Please use the [Collection], [Pick-up], or [Battlestation] flair as appropriate, for these posts, or they may be subject to removal.

No Crypto, NFT, or Meme Stock Discussion
We play video games, nobody wants to hear about your get rich quick scheme.

Tell us the name!
This one is more of a request than a hard rule, if it's not completely clear what game or system you're posting we're gonna ask you to tell us. Nobody has played every retro game ever made, letting us know which one you're talking about is just polite.

No reseller posts
We're not the place to resell your games. Try r/retromart and r/gameexchange instead. We care about our users, and we can't vet every sale. It's not a risk we are comfortable taking.

Visit our rules page for a more in-depth explanation of this subreddit's policies.
It's perfectly okay to post your YouTube video, blog, or kickstarter here. Your content is welcome. (No live streams, though.) However, we ask that your self promotional content not be more than around 10 percent of your total posts. For more information please Reddit's self-promotion rules for more.
