Damien Duff

[Damien Duff] "I was shocked and saddened that Scott chose a villa in Mallorca full of beautiful single women over myself, the staff and the players,"

Damien Duff on the 50m for Casement Park “Will Casement Park bring through footballers? Maybe in a roundabout way. Academies for me is where the future of Irish football is – €50m, how many games will it host? Four? Great, we’ll go to the toilet four times. I’d rather it was spent on academies.”

Damien Duff Interview

In case any of you haven't heard the Richie Sadlier interview of Damien Duff, I think it's really excellent, mostly about Shels and how he's found management. A bit sad that he thinks everyone hates him, although I think some of it is learnt behavior from the likes of Jose. He generally seems like he's struggling a bit to really find happiness or a balance in his life, but I don't see him leaving Shels any time soon, man is pouring his entire being in to dragging the club forward.

Damien Duff: "All we’ve done in the league for two and a half years is upsetting people and upsetting the apple cart, and now it’s time to take it to Europe and the rest of the world."

Damien Duff: "This league means more to me than anything, I’ve traveled the world. I’ve played in quite a few leagues, I’ve coached over in Scotland. This is the greatest league in the world. The sooner the better we get people actually helping the league it'll be even greater than it is now"
