Headed to NYC in May. I'm a power walker in real life and wear Brooks Ghosts for my daily walks. I'm looking for a pair of sneakers that aren't so athletic looking to wear with casual clothes in the city, but I just can't embrace the white sneaker look that has been so popular for years. It's just not me. I like the look of some Oliver Cabell multi color shoes but their reviews and return policy aren't great. I need arch support so that rules out Rothy's, Converse, Vans. I have a pair of AllBirds that I love but I'm just not sure they are supportive enough for a long day of walking on sidewalks. I also have a pair of black leather Ahnu lace up sneakers that are styled like Converse and 8 years old that I may have to fall back on. I've googled and looked at so many shoes and I can't find anything I like much less tried a pair on. Any ideas?
Edit to add: Oh man you people are the best! I'm stuck at home with Covid (my first time!) and have gone from sad about the shoe dilemma to excitedly looking at options I had not considered. Thank you so much!

I (51F) am not ready to do the full transition but I want to go a little bit grey.
Partly to dip my toes in, partly to quit monthly permanent dyes at the hairdresser which are expensive, time consuming, make me feel dishonest about aging, and make me worry about the chemicals on my skin.
To save money I’ve started home dyes - but if my hair needed dying less often I’d love to go back to the hairdresser as they do a much better job.
My hair is almost completely grey and dyed mid brown with vague highlights, and cut to chin length with a side swept fringe. It tends to go warm as it used to be naturally dark brunette, so I use a purple rinse to tone it down.
Has anyone transitioned to part-grey and how did they do it? What approach, products and style did you go for, and how well did it go for you?
I expect I’d need to see a hairdresser to get it established at least.
Ideas welcome!

I’m so sick of fashion subreddits being taken over by people who use them to promote their OF or to show off their body. I have no problem with that type of work, BUT PLEASE USE THE PROPER SUBREDDITS. This is a SFW subreddit where people of all ages can go to ask fashion advice. MINORS CAN BE PLUS SIZED TOO.
Do not subject unconsenting people to porn. ESPECIALLY MINORS. It’s your responsibility as an adult to post that stuff on the proper subreddits. No one is “body shaming” you when they’re mad you posted porn. Thats a crazy accusation 😭 I love plus sized subreddits. There’s only so many of them. Please keep them clean and sfw. I’m all for body positivity, but again, there are specific subreddits for showing off your full body.
