I don’t want this

Someone told me when I first started going through this that the life and future you are mourning is something that was never going to happen. Unfortunately for us the reality is that we don't get the future we wanted. We lose the love we had. I yearn for my wife all the time, but we don't get that and it's okay to sit with those emotions. They will pass eventually. But it doesn't do us any good to focus on a future that wasn't going to happen anyway.

Is it weird to wear my wedding band post divorce?

Strangely for me not wearing my ring has been one of the hardest things to get used to. I'm coming up on seven weeks of having been separated and still today as I was leaving the house I almost went back up to my room to get it. I wasn't even married that long.

Lost. Devastated. Heartbroken.

When I was trying to convince my STBXW to stay, I told her I thought our relationship was 90% good. She said 75%. I told her even knowing the heartbreak I was experiencing now I’d still marry her tomorrow and her response before I could even finish the sentence was “I wouldn’t.”

There’s always going to be things like that we’ll have that will stick with us. Its unfair. But like I said, we can take comfort in the fact that we were dedicated and loving. We weren’t the ones who gave up.

These are decisions she made OP. Not you.

Something I was told when I was first starting this process is that there is nothing you could’ve done to prevent this. It was always going to happen from the moment you met her.

Take comfort in the fact that it wasn’t your decisions. You did the right things.

Dak Prescott Passing Chart

He is arguably the best quarterback in the league at throwing the ball down the seam 15-30 yards down the field. Can’t throw it there or anywhere else right now because only Lamb is open.
