The NFL today is almost like a different game compared to the way it was played back in the day. The players were often bloody and muddy, the quarterbacks weren’t treated like fragile primadonnas, and the logos and lore were legendary. If you are nostalgic for the Gridiron greatness of the past, this sub is for you.

Picture based reference guides for anything and everything. If it seems like something someone might print, physically post, and reference then it is a good link for this sub. Remember: Infographics are learning tools, guides are reference tools. Sometimes it's grey.

Why is it that most discussions on this subreddit are super conspiracy brained, very schizopilled about everything, but whenever the NFL comes up everyone on here RUSHES to defend its purity and legitimacy like
“WHAT? YOU THINK THE NFL IS RIGGED? ARE YOU THE DUMBEST FUCKING PERSON ALIVE? DOES YOUR BRAIN WORK?”
It’s appalling to me, it does not line up with the way this sub views anything and it surprises me that people who are so rabidly foaming at the mouth to defend a pro sports league are even on this sub. Like do you know where you are? Do you know this a sub for a podcast? Have you ever listened to it?
People on here come running to defend the legitimacy of the NFL, acting like you’re the absolute dumbest person alive if you question its legitimacy, but we spend all day on here questioning the legitimacy of literally everything else in the world?
And if you want to talk about the “how”, like how could they even rig games? Simply google most controversial NFL calls. One penalty, or even one missed penalty can completely decide the game. It’s such a wildly simple concept that I find it hilarious people on here seem to be so bewildered by the thought even crossing one’s mind.

We're meeting the Jets in Super Bowl 59. Rodgers makes it back to the Super Bowl for the first time in 14 years just for his opponent to be his old team so the league can get their crazy ratings.
They're going to get 10 wins and lose the division to Miami, ending up as the 6th seed in the AFC (Bills will get hit with the injury bug and finish 9-8) while we lock up the NFC 1 seed at 13-4.
Jets are going to survive the Wild Card and Divisional rounds with road OT victories over Miami and KC, respectively, while we cruise to home wins over the Eagles in the divisional round and Cowboys in the NFC championship. Then NY defeats the 2-seed Browns in Cleveland in the AFC chip to meet us in the Super Bowl, where they find themselves trailing us 21-16 with 5 seconds left at midfield.
Rodgers throws up a prayer to the end zone and it gets intercepted by Jordan Love the end.

Personally, here’s what I think:
Locks:
Penei Sewell
Amon-Ra St. Brown
Aidan Hutchinson
Jared Goff
Should definitely make the list:
Sam LaPorta
Frank Ragnow
Jahmyr Gibbs/David Montgomery
We might see them:
David Montgomery/Jahmyr Gibbs
Alex Anzalone
Brian Branch
Special teamers we won’t see but are elite:
Jack Fox
Jalen Reeves-Maybin
Kalif Raymond
I think we'll end up seeing 4-8 guys on the list
