Its clearly a (Tomistoma schlegelii). Saltwater crocodiles have much wider snouts.

Its an Orinoco crocodile not a Tomistoma. But they do resemble each other.

Downvoted for telling the truth, that relocating man eaters is possible and more sustainable. Especially when its an endangered species. Two valuable lives were lost and im sad for both.

They were previously believed to leave humans alone, until the first verified fatal attack on a human in 2008. However their larger Indian relatives (Gavialis gangeticus) have never been documented killing a human.

Its an endangered species. Relocating it would have been possible. Its been done before with man eating crocodiles.
