NBA
The title is all i need to say. 33 free throws to 12 and calling a foul to end the game???? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! Edit: corrected free throws for each team

So many posts here of young lads asking if they have a chance of making pro. The truth is, the odds, and the math, are not in your favor.
There are 30 teams in the NBA, each carrying a maximum of 15 roster players. That means there are a total of 450 players earning NBA salaries, with many of them never even seeing the floor in meaningful minutes.
While we do get the occasional feel-good story about the kid who only picked up a basketball for the first time when he was 16, but is now a starter for a playoff contender, those are exceptional cases. Like, 6'9" freakishly athletic exceptions, born with 7' wingspans and springs for feet.
You likely aren't that guy, kid. Sorry to burst your bubble.
Which doesn't mean you should quit playing this beautiful game. Basketball is a game you could play recreationally well into middle-age. It's great for keeping fit, and for making lifelong friends. You might make your high school team, which is always a hit with the girls!
If you work really hard you might even get a chance to tryout for the collegiate team if you go to college or university. While pro life is probably a stretch, there are more than 650 Division 1 and 2 schools, all of which offer some sort of scholarship program. You likely won't earn a full ride, but even a partial scholarship can really help out a family while you get your degree.
All these words are to say: the math doesn't look good, if your goal is the NBA. Hard work is crucial, but genetics play a big part, unfortunately.
But that doesn't mean you can't train hard and get good at hooping. There are some great players in rec leagues around the world!

Tell me a legit bad NBA take you had over the last several NBA seasons? I have had a legit bad take or two. I said Jokic could not get a ring without a true all star second option. I also said that Jalen Brunson would never average over 20 a game. Bonus, I said James Wiseman will be a walking double double once he leaves the warriors lol
Never bet the fucking money line in the NBA
Pacers got wrecked by the miserable fucking Hornets? Raptors are getting wrecked by the bottom Dwelling Spurs? The Knicks are getting bent over by the Rockets? Cavs are about to lose to the Embiid-less 76ers at home?
All on the same fucking night! These teams were all like -300 or better to win.
Take player props with no spreads or money lines and you’ll see more winning slips.

We should all be there tomorrow to press them and flood their AMA with questions about last nights game.
Does anyone know where i can buy these? They are the official authentic NBA nike socks the players wear and they have extra padding. I saw some listings on ebay but most are XL and around 50$ but i need L. I want crew fit. I heard they’re called “powergrip” Different from Elites
Any advice? Or similar socks to hoop in with good padding? Thanks
I have literally seen knicks players from Randle, to melo to ewing to bernard literally get MURDERED in last second situations and i’ve heard the same bs line over and over again that refs will AlWAYS swallow their whistle in that situation. But to not only call it to end the game, THERE WASN’T even contact. The worst part is the officials were AWFUL all fucking night. Said in the game thread in the 1st half was the worst officiated game of the season. And guess what the 2 minute review is going to say the PROPER call was made!
Khris is still out, and that will probably be the case until after the all-star break.
Game 2 of the Pat Bev era.
We’re 1.5-point favorites.
Coming into this game we are:
- 2 games behind the Cavaliers for the Central division, currently 2nd.
- 7 games behind the Celtics for the 1 seed in the East, currently the 3 seed.
- 7 games behind the Celtics for the NBA’s best record, 7th overall.
FMD
Go Bucks!
Just based off
They are behind the Timberwolves, Celtics, Warriors, and Cavaliars. Which is great company.
Doc Rivers and Patrick Beverley are really whipping this already elite offense into shape defensively through injuries to their biggest weapons in this stretch.
All things Related to the New York Knicks of The National Basketball Association.
Looks like they finally saw what everyone else did. Too late for Knicks though.
