What NFL QB played 8 years with the same team, never won a Divisional Playoff game, but in his 9th year, took his (same) team to the NFL Championship Game?
No ONE. Ever.
What NFL QB started out 2-5 in his career in the Playoffs and in his next start won his third game?
No ONE. Ever.
No one's ever started 2-5 in the Playoffs and got a chance to start game #8.
Peyton Manning would be the closest, who started out 3-6 (3-4 in his first seven, which included losing in the AFC Championship to Brady's Patriots though - so HE at least won a Divisonal Round Playoff Game). But think about that - he didn't get beat by #7 seeds with a 1st year starting QB or a Third String QB making his 7th start ever - Manning was getting beat by the GOAT.
Other Big Losers:
Warren Moon: Like Dak Prescott, Moon NEVER won a Divisonal Playoff Game. Started off 3-4 in his Playoff Career after EIGHT seasons, but Houston decided to stay with him. He lost his next 3 first round starts, two for Houston (before finally being given up on) and the last for Minnesota.
Moon led the league in Atts (3 times), Comp (Twice), Yards (Twice), and TD's in his career, putting up pretty great regular season numbers. Sounds amazingly familiar...
Alex Smith finished his career with a 2-5 record, BUT won a Divisonal Round Game and played in the NFC Championship with SF in his 7th year. He then went 1-4 with KC and never got a chance to start an 8th game. So THAT ranks above Dak in Playoff history. But again, no QB in NFL history ever started 2-5 and got to start an EIGHTH Playoff Game.
Billy Kilmer started off 2-2 in his Playoff career, but took Washington to a Super Bowl - lost, and then finished with two more losses for a 2-5 lifetime record. He never got a chance at 8. But that Super Bowl appearance ranks him above Dak. Again, no QB in NFL history ever started 2-5 and got to start an EIGHTH Playoff Game.
Andy Dalton had a 0-4 record in the Playoffs. Get this: He led the Bengals to not only THREE straight double digit win seasons (33 wins over the 2013, 2014, 2015 seasons - 16 game seasons), but lost in the Playoffs in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 - sound familar? He was injured and missed the Playoffs in 2015). The Bengals had seen enough and moved on. He threw 6 interceptions in those 4 games, and may actually be worse than Dak.
He came back in 2016 and they went 6-9-1.
Many of the fans in that 'other' subreddit complained that this is cherry picking the numbers. But the truth is, all of those QB's who won a Super Bowl AFTER their 8th season either a) did it with a different team or b) had already won at LEAST a Divisional Playoff Game and been to a Championship.
Manning (see above) started out 3-4 (3-6) and had been to an AFC Championship Game. John Elway started out 4-3 (4-4) and had been to (and lost) TWO Super Bowls. Jim Plunkett changed teams and went 4-0 in his first playoff run (6-1 and 8-2 overall). Steve Young - 2nd team, wasn't even the starter for most of his early time in SF. Went to TWO NFC Championship Games before he finally won a Super Bowl. 5-2 in his first seven. Matt Stafford - 2nd team. 4-3 in his first seven. Drew Brees - 2nd team - (1-2) before his Super Bowl season with an NFC Championship appearance. Brad Johnson - 3rd team - wasn't a starter for 3 of those years - (1-2) in the Playoffs before he went on his Super Bowl run. Joe Theisman won it in his 9th year, but he'd only been a starter for 5 seasons and never had a Playoff start before the 1983 season.
NONE of those guys lost 5 Playoff Games and then suddenly blossomed into a Playoff Superstar.

Pat McAfee Show | Podcast | YouTube | Daily PMS talk This Show Stinks.
Undoutedly this will get buried by boot lickers. I've not missed a single episode since I learned about them. But that's irrelevant. Pat has always been 100% about his team, so I never hated him for getting Tye, Connor, Tone, and the rest of them paid. They deserved that. But now is the consequences.
I'm an unbiased guy, truly. But Pat purposefully ignoring us "poors" opinion is too crazy. I'm only writing this because I truly pride myself on being unbiased. But to absolutely ignore the fact that some people dont have the money for TWO extra subscriptions a year is insane. It's not that we can't scrap up enough money, it's really just a complete ignore of us normal blue collar people that they pride themselves on representing. Truly depressed after hearing him obviously dance around the topic
I'm pretty embarrassed for misjudging Pat for so long. Too many of my friends know I love Pat McAfee. It's currently live so I'm not going to rewind the stream and quote all of it, but I promise it'll all be on youtube soon enough.
Edit: It's not about the $15/month. don't comment saying to get our bread up lol
Hopefully yall understand. Just a bad morning, man. i need a new routine

The NFL today is almost like a different game compared to the way it was played back in the day. The players were often bloody and muddy, the quarterbacks weren’t treated like fragile primadonnas, and the logos and lore were legendary. If you are nostalgic for the Gridiron greatness of the past, this sub is for you.
