Jen is taken off guard and is understandably distressed when, while waiting up for her teenage son to return home, she looks out the window and witnesses him pulling a knife and killing a man she does not recognize. She falls asleep that night in a state of turmoil, only to awaken the next morning to realize it's actually not the next morning. It's yesterday morning. And so the cycle goes.....each morning she wakes up a day (or week, or weeks) earlier and she soon realizes she's somehow fallen into a time loop in order to go back and save her son from the events of the future.

This has been on my TBR pile for a while and it did not disappoint. Part mystery/thriller and part "sort of" time travel, it reminded me of aspects of other books I've read, but it was unique enough to be refreshing and it had several plot twists that kept me intrigued. As with all books that have a time element such as this, I had to struggle to wrap my brain around some things, but not terribly so. Recommend!… (more)
