I did str/faith great shield gaurd counter and smoked the entire game. Guard countering with a great shield feels unkillable at times. For weapon progression I used broadsword(sacred blade) > claymore(sacred blade) > blasphemous blade > black steel greathammer(lions claw) literally just for consort radahn.

Blasphemous blade will smoke the entire game, but I kept sacred blade claymore on hand and upgraded for undead enemies like deaths birds, and it has a ton of versatility for other ashes of war. Then I used black steel greathammer to full commit to stance breaking consort and managed to kill him with it. BBs ash of war was a little harder to pull off in that fight otherwise I would’ve used it. Golden order greatsword is also a great option for holy dmg, it will smoke undead and kills skeles without having to apply sacred blade or use its ash of war.

Imo the shotgun gameplay specifically in CoD is better than any other game out there. I think a lot of it’s due to the map design which has gotten worse lately due to having wayyy more lanes and angles of attack than they use to, but the shotgun gameplay is still what gives me the cod itch from time to time.

I played it for the first time in s3 of DF. I’m obviously no expert, but there’s essentially 3 things you need to know.

1. Spending runes fills your bar(runic power) and spending your bar fills your runes. That’s pretty much the main objective is spending one resource so you can spend the other.

2. there’s like 7 CDs when using on-use trinkets to manage, so do some research on those timings. Gargoyle window for raid build is top prio(I’m not up to date on what TWW hero talents will involve)

3. dropping Death and Decay properly is important, especially crucial to enable cleave. My understanding is blizz is trying to alleviate this

There’s obviously more detail involved but those are kinda the three pillars of UH DK in my experience. Again I’m not up to date on TWW changes, so some of this may be dated.

Path of exile is just a game about building builds. Most of the time is spent in a 3rd party program called Path of Building where you build builds and theorycraft builds. Playing the build is a secondary to building the build.

There was a study of spec and class power ranking in RAID from legion to shadowlands at one point and spriest as a SINGLE SPEC was averaged the highest ranking across all seasons. Not necessarily the best each season but ranking high(top 5ish) each season and often top. Spriest crushed dragonflight. So I’d imagine spriest is still the reigning champ of consistently strong. The only issue is it has no offspec dps if it does have poor tuning, so it’s technically more vulnerable to poor tuning than other dps specs. It’s also the best spec in the game because I said so, trust.

As a CLASS iirc warlock was the most consistent, meaning at least one lock spec was strong throughout all the seasons. With mage close behind as a CLASS. So they’re also relatively safe picks but arcane and demo could possibly be in the dumps compared to its other specs, but it’s unlikely that playing a suboptimal spec would be “griefing”

HOWEVER, it’s been a long time since a spec was truly so down bad it will be bottom dps every pull so don’t concern yourself too much with tier lists and such. Most of the time a dps spec being “bottom tier” is due to its damage profile not matching well with a boss fight cadence/style rather than purely poor tuning.
