Hello all, not a Trojans fan or alumni here, but I just made this quiz about current and former USC alumni who have been in the NFL, and I thought some of you might enjoy it. There may be some people I might've left out or some pictures that are hard to use, but I just thought it might be a fun challenge for y'all if you're feeling up for it. Have a great day and congratulations on the Holiday Bowl win!!
I was doing a thought experiment earlier where if I could manipulate the entire NFL offseason, what would make the highest number of fantasy managers happy? Here’s what I came up with.
Colts bring back Pittman. Bucs bring back Evans. Vikings bring back Cousins.
Bears select Caleb with 1.01, Odunze with 1.09, and Brendan Rice in day 2.
Justin Fields traded to Atlanta.
Commanders draft Drake Maye 1.02 and sign Calvin Ridley to give him an additional weapon.
Raiders trade up to 1.03 and select Jayden Daniels. They pair him up with Brian Thomas Jr in the 2nd round.
Cardinals select MHJ at 1.04.
Chargers draft Brock Bowers 1.05 and draft Blake Corum in day 2.
In a bombshell trade, Bills trade Diggs and other assets to the Giants for the 1.06. They use the 1.06 to select Nabers.
Bengals tag and trade Tee Higgins to the Titans. Bengals draft Troy Franklin at 1.18 and JaTavion Sanders with the pick gained from Higgins.
Saquon Barkley signs with the Texans. Giants replace him with Braelon Allen in day 2.
Tyler Lockett released by Seattle. Signs in Dallas.
Cowboys also sign Derrick Henry to a 1 year deal and draft Jonathan Brooks in the 2nd round.
Jags replace Calvin Ridley by signing Hollywood Brown.
Russell Wilson released by Broncos and signed by Steelers. Broncos draft Bo Nix.
Michael Penix and JaLynn Polk drafted day 2 by the Saints.
Gabe Davis to the Chiefs.

He has 5,829 rushing yards in his career but never had a one thousand yard season. He has another 4,219 receiving yards for a total of 10,048 from scrimmage. He also has 78 total TDs, standing as the franchise leader.
This title feels like sort of a lock for him. Who else would be in the conversation? There’s Bo Jackson, but his volume ended up being so much less. Can’t really think of anyone else but curious to the discussion.

Bill Simmons is a sportswriter, television personality, and podcaster. After many successful years at ESPN as a writer, tv host, and creator (of Grantland & 30 for 30), he signed a lucrative deal to partner with HBO. He currently hosts "The Bill Simmons Podcast", and founded TheRinger.com and Ringer Podcast Network in 2016
I feel like everyone has lost the thread in a truly fucking absurd way.
THEY DON’T MAKE THE FUCKING RULES. They call the game based on extensive instruction from the NBA itself (via the competition committee and whatever other internal teams the NBA has for rules).
NBA players are more entitled than they’ve ever been and argue more than any other sport already.
Fuck it, I’m a refs fan now. And I’m desperate for them to go on strike so the endless fucking whining can stop.
The gap between NBA refs and NCAAB refs is bigger than NFL refs and NCAAF refs. That’s the closest faccimily we have, and the reality is that college refs wouldn’t just immediately fill in anyway due to job security, contracts, and/or union obligations.

Hello y'all, casual NFL fan here. Have been reading up on the upcoming QB prospect for the Bears this draft and had a question regarding the areas of the field a QB has to throw to in the league.
In basketball, there is something called a 3 level scorer, with the three levels being behind the 3pt line, the midrange, and the rim. The best scorers in the NBA are all 3 level scorers since they can stress the defense at all aspects of the court and make it damn near impossible to guard them.
I was reading theringer's draft guide and on Penix's profile, they mention that his numbers struggled with intermediate middle of the field. Now as a Bears fan, I am familiar with what that means for a QB (😫😫😫). Given that, I was wondering what the NFL's equivalent of a 3 level scorer would be for the QB position. Obviously, the deep throws to the other 1/3 of the field would be one of them since guys like Tua who don't have the strength to make those throws make it easier for defensive coverages to set up compared to someone like Josh Allen. So would the equivalent be something like a QB who can throw to the intermediate middle, middle, and long down field?
Thanks and would appreciate answers in the context of evaluating QBs from a prospect perspective.

The NFL today is almost like a different game compared to the way it was played back in the day. The players were often bloody and muddy, the quarterbacks weren’t treated like fragile primadonnas, and the logos and lore were legendary. If you are nostalgic for the Gridiron greatness of the past, this sub is for you.
