The NFL today is almost like a different game compared to the way it was played back in the day. The players were often bloody and muddy, the quarterbacks weren’t treated like fragile primadonnas, and the logos and lore were legendary. If you are nostalgic for the Gridiron greatness of the past, this sub is for you.

A place for casual listeners to full blown stans to discuss controversial topics about or involving Taylor Swift. This is NOT a circlejerk sub. You can find that at r/swiftiecirclejerk
Firstly, I love Taylor’s music and I’m against anything misogynistic about her going to the Chief’s games.
But, to be honest as a person who doesn’t even watch football that much, the NFL IS talking about/showing her a lot. Taylor and her fans simplifying to only being seen on camera few seconds is simply not true when her presence to games is talked about everywhere. 😭
The claim that “she’s only shown for a few seconds” may be true if you’re just looking at the game time. But she’s talked about in social media posts beforehand and after the games, there’s Taylor swift/football puns, she’s mentioned in the news about the game and etc. Obviously, I don’t want her harassed and the AI images are disgusting but I can understand why fans would be annoyed with the NFL and Taylor.
She banned her name from being searched on Twitter, I’m sure she could ask the NFL to cool it with the camera on her or posts about her. But she doesn’t and ~claims she has no control over that~ lol…
A place for those looking to get away from the traditional cable tv model, and move toward cheaper and legal options like over the air antenna, library collections, and streaming services.
I think they did what they could to make sure Mr. Swift and Kermit made it to the SB

So basically I’m gonna watch the Super Bowl tonight and I have no idea about how nfl works. I’m from the UK so my sport is soccer, but every year I like to try and watch the nfl just to see the best two teams play. Problem is I just don’t understand the sport. I know it’s a lot to ask but is there anyone that can explain the sport to me so I can watch and understand the game?

We built our own platform 😉 An open forum for snarking on Jackie & Claudia Oshry ( & the rest of the fam) because comments everywhere else get deleted and blocked! Speak your mind, just be a decent human.
I will not be able to stomach them if it's chiefs vs 49ers. Do we think Claudia would actually make it into the 49ers WAG suite?
All things Dancing With The Stars. Now airing its 32nd season on ABC and Disney+ with next-day streaming on Hulu.
So much better than the crappy CBS feed (it was so bad I had to switch to the Paramount+ app).
Jimmy Johnson, to me, was the best. Started his first season at 1-15 a few years later won multiple Super Bowls. Pete Carroll was very successful. Jim Harbaugh did well. Barry Switzer was handed a great team so I wouldn't include him. John Robinson did OK with the Rams. John McKay was marginal at best. I do wonder if Nick Saban had another year or two what would have happened? Was Urban Meyer really that bad? Or was it just the "instant winner" thing by the owners? As I stated, Jimmy Johnson was 1-15 in his first year with the Cowboys. Did Urban need more time, or was it as bad as they say? Steve Spurrier wasn't that good at the pro level.
Who do you think would be a great NFL coach?

And all of a sudden Lielea has football Sundays at their apartment. Has anyone ever heard her talking about watching football the entire football season?? NFL enthusiast here and just curious.
