50 Foot Swells On Lake Superior, Minnesota
Waves in the ocean have thousands of miles to build up; Superior is more like hundreds. There's just no way they are comparable. Still that's pretty respectable. Ships get knocked over a lot on that "lake". Not to be taken lightly.

Pendleton has several artillery ranges, and god only knows how many small arms ranges. Rifle ranges, mortar ranges, Marines gotta learn how to operate all that gear safely. It gets loud sometimes. Especially when they're running exercises and mock operations.

Can't you switch over to an alternate carrier like Arcadia? I think something is going on because you have solar. I just checked my bill, don't have solar, and it's a few bucks less than last month. I remember reading somewhere that SDGE applied to charge a fee to people with solar. Don't know what happened though.
