A liberal arts degree, as it was originally conceived (even if it doesn't meet it in practice) are to acquire those skills essential to take an active part in civic life and be good people. AI getting better at writing may decrease the economic value of an English degree, but I think it makes that education all the more important to ensure people learn how to think, how to read, how to debate, how to learn.
I realize that this is an idealized view, and colleges rarely live up to that ideal, but I wonder how much of that is a reflection that the public demands economic value out of degrees, and colleges have responded accordingly by recognizing that piece of paper you get at the end is all that matters to some and deciding to skate on the classes everyone ought to be taking.

Is that even an American tank? Reminds me of the megachurch in Missouri that had a tank come out for one of its men’s events, sporting American flags even though it was a British Centurion.
One explanation I heard that makes sense is that suppressor bans help rangers track down poachers more easily in large national parks/forests.

Think he was talking about the author of the tweet.
In 2007 the McD's near me had $1 Big 'n' Tastys, and you could add Big Mac sauce for free. 2x $1 BnTs, $1 drink, and that would be dinner for a hungry college kid.

The Springfield Cashew Chickens was a nice change of pace!
Absolutely same thing here. I went Baldur’s Gate 3 -> Starfield, then saw the 2.0 release so finally played Cyberpunk after owning it since release. Starfield might have stood out in a good way in the past couple of years, but this year? The only thing you notice is how disappointingly bland it is.
