We are officially less than two months until Princess Peach: Showtime!‘s launch; in the meantime, Nintendo has released the game’s newest “Transformation” trailer, which gives players an overview of all of Peach’s transformations, including the newly revealed Ninja Peach and Cowgirl Peach.
The introduction shows a kunai-wielding Ninja Peach sneaking up behind an enemy on stage while hiding in the grass just before slicing through him, plus some good old wall jumping. Cowgirl Peach is more in your face, using a lasso to wrap around her enemies, trapping them while quickly throwing them to who knows where, plus she “yee-haws into action” on horseback. The other already-revealed transformations, including the already revealed Swordfighter Peach, Detective Peach, Patissiere Peach, and Kung Fu Peach, were also featured in the Princess Peach: Showtime! trailer.
“As Ninja Peach, she will call upon her sneaking abilities as she uses shadows, shrubbery and makeshift bamboo snorkels to surprise and thwart her enemies. On levels where you need to be a little more brash, Cowgirl Peach yee-haws into action. Her horseback-riding expertise is matched only by her deftness with a lasso, and you’ll need both to make sure Peach rides off into the sunset …or at least into the next scene,” Nintendo described.
Princess Peach: Showtime! is set to launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch on March 22nd. Some of the other Nintendo first-party games launching this year in Nintendo Switch’s “final year” as we know it include Mario Vs. Donkey Kong, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
