No enabling or linking to piracy
Digital piracy is the unauthorized use or reproduction of another's work, games or other. Enabling piracy by informing others how to circumvent the law or linking to it by providing access to pirated material is not allowed. This includes linking to scanned images of other copyrighted work, such as commercial magazines. News and discussion regarding emulators is allowed provided no copyrighted content is linked to.

Specific Content Restrictions (All of Rule 7)
r/Games has rules that restrict specific types of content. For example, discussion submissions should aim to have broad enough scope for quality discussion, whereas looking for a solution or game suggestion, unsubstantiated rumours, petitions/surveys, or posting about a server/community are not allowed.

Follow promotional limits
Follow promotional limits
No more than 10% of your reddit account's submissions may be about a given topic or source, such as about one particular game, content from one particular website, or articles from one particular author.
Promotion
Some promotional submitting (posting your own projects, articles, etc.) is permitted, but it must be balanced out by a much greater level of non-promotion participation in reddit - the rule of thumb is no more than 10% of your submissions may be promotional. Do not solicit votes for your posts.
For more information, see the self-promotion on reddit FAQ.
If you want to promote without participating in the community, purchase an ad.
