2022 feels like City got bored during the final game and decided to make it more challenging. Once they scored their first goal it felt inevitable

Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis takes issue with A’s pending move by hbh110 in baseball

True, not scum (atleast as far as we know) but clueless. Its as if he saw his dad's last few years in charge and decided to emulate that part when making football decisions.

Maybe not scum but the guy is pretty clueless. The Raiders have been completely rudderless since they lost the super bowl in 2003 and while a lot of that can be attributed to Al Davis his son hasn't made it any better.

they never care for anything but profit, some of them just do PR better then others. Most probably don't care about their reputation from fans

I really hope that the Golden Knights and Raiders (temporarily) sapped Vegas enthusiasm for new sports teams. Just so that this move blows up in the owners faces

I never contested that. I just stated that it would be concerning of they weren't the better team fro at least the first half

It helps that Blazers management eventually performed a full reset and traded or didn't resign a lot of the old players but only after most of those players stopped being good. So when Roy came in the team was looking for a new identity

Alright so is there ANY chance in hell we land Ohtani? by RaroDannyR in Astros

[–]cautioslyhopeful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

fair enough, I highly doubt it would happen cause I'm almost certain the usual suspects (Dodgers, Yankees, Mets) would start a bidding war not to mention the Angels likely throwing all the money at him

Secret base made a good video on them (Jail Blazers) if you want to learn about that team. I wouldn't say they were dirty on the court, at least by the standards of their era, but the off court stuff would make Dray look like a choir boy

Are you another person overreacting from the usual early season slump

You were at home and playing with desperation. Against a Madrid side with a two goal advantage.

If you weren't the better team for at least the first half it would be very concerning

Within league circles, there is chatter that Tim Connelly is unhappy in Minnesota and already looking for ways out of his contract with the Timberwolves. by Fit-Avocado-342 in nba

Wish a Lakers fan would come list out all the failures of the Warriors for the past 6 decades like the 12 straight losing seasons y’all racked up and be like “oh are you sure the warriors fans have a charmed fandom? 5 titles in 60+ years of existence. That’s cute. Try 11 then come back and talk to me ” That’d be fun

Sure! Fans of teams that experience success do shit on fans of losers like your team and my team by the Lakers level of success its pretty standard banter. But didn't you already bring all that up or was it the other commenter?

And yeah I got on during the "bandwagon" years cause I was 12 during the 2015-16 season and just started getting into the NBA apologies for my age.

Blah blah blah, The Cavs drafted lebron and got one chip out of it. Biggest example on why being "lucky" doesn't explain all success.

The Thunder got lucky by stealing another city's team that already drafted KD and Russ. I also see yet another person judging me by me just doing standard trolling/insults. Are you gonna be like the other person here and wish me a bad day?

First of flair up coward, second Warriors were garbage all those years then finally formed a title window and capitalized by turning into a dynasty.

You can cite our franchises garbage past all you want. In the past 8 years (4 Championships, 6 finals appearances) we've been on top and I'll be as entitled about it as much as I please because our guys got the job done.

The Thunder got their "success" because the Sonics coward owner lied to the city and moved the team (which already had Durant and drafted Westbrook). They then proceeded to cheap out on James Harden because "muh small market!!!" whining by their billionaire owner thus wasting their title window.

When the Warriors title window ends we'll probably go back to being awful for a couple years but atleast we got chips out of our title window. Not something you can say
