Agree with all of this, and definitely happy to see some positivity towards everyone! Love the way Nat pushes herself in every challenge (that Kangaroo Larb as a first dish? Come on!), the way that Sav wears her culture proudly and advocates for it, and the way Pezza has progressed as a cook throughout the competition. I think all of them will be successful post-Masterchef and I'd go to all of their restaurants should they open them.
Special mention to Harry and Mimi too- i could probably keep going but I don't have all day sadly
Search up Volkanovski vs Ortega round 3. Crazy stuff
That's gotta be Harry IMO. As bad as the scrambled egg fish was from Nat, everything else seemed good and that stroke of genius with the Curry powder might just save her. Harry just didn't get anything other than the one sauce.
Nat might just escape by the skin of her teeth here
For good friends I don't see why not? I'm happy to share with close friends because I know that at some point they'll help me out too. Of course if someone never reciprocates, or begs you for the password multiple times after you say no, I understand the frustration- Otherwise I just think viewing it as a "why can't you just spend the money, pay for it yourself" situation feels like a transactional way to approach it.
Andy crossed the line a little there IMO. That was harsh

r/tennis Wimbledon Discussion (Thursday, July 04, 2024)
The comments on some players posts by angry gamblers are truly some of the most pathetic things I've ever seen. Walton lost a back and forth 5 setter in a tiebreaker and some of the comments on his instagram are truly vile. If you lose a bunch of money betting on Wimbledon, take the loss on the chin rather than venting it on players- or better yet, don't gamble what you can't afford to lose.

[Romano] EXCL: Jaden Philogene’s move to Barcelona looks now complicated and unlikely as he’s giving priority to Premier League move. Understand three clubs have sent him proposals: Crystal Palace, Ipswich Town, Everton. Decision expected soon.
Disregard what I said about Everton then

One thing i haven't seen mentioned in these comments- what are the odds that in a year or 2's time, he doesn't fit into their plans, doesn't play well, or Barcelona need money, and they try to pressure him into forgoing wages or other bonuses he's entitled to? We've recently seen Barcelona trying to combat their own financial mismanagement by pressuring their legends and big signings into forgoing wages or accepting a reduction, or retiring early- as a player and a management team, that would have to play into your thinking. Everton maybe isn't the most financially prudent but Palace/Ipswich at least, you wouldn't worry about that.
I think that was the same reaction we all had. When Ngannou not only defended it but reversed it and landed shots on Stipe, I think everyone very quickly realised that this wasn't the same Ngannou from the first fight.
He was spot on when he said he was the better fighter, Pantoja was the better competitor, IMO.
Man that 3rd round of Riddell vs Mullarkey was insanity
If there'd been 5 more seconds in r2 it might just've worked. He was piecing Poirier up and had him hurt up against the fence. But he didn't, and like you say, he was exhausted after that
“Rob has a really bad abscess that flared up a week before flying out,” Day (Titus Day, Rob's manager) explained."
“He had headaches, tooth pain, it was like he’d been kicked in the side of the head."
“He couldn’t train, couldn’t eat, couldn’t sleep.
“It was f…ing painful.
“The whole side of his head was in pain so we had to rush him in for emergency surgery.”
Incredibly, that came only a day before he and his team flew out for Dubai, where they then spent around 10 days before jetting into Riyadh for fight week.
Yeah if you're watching last season, I could understand your opinion. The current season is a lot better though
