Civic Hall is a newly built, cutting-edge, state-of-the-art institution and an essential educational collaborator within New York City’s tech ecosystem.

We serve as a workforce training hub and work in conjunction with renowned global tech training providers to harness and develop the untapped talent within NYC’s local communities. We address the requirements of world-class companies by solving their training, hiring and retention with skilled professionals.

Civic Hall is a member of The Fedcap Group, an international nonprofit that creates opportunities and improves the lives of people with barriers to economic well-being.

We extend a warm invitation to all tech training organizations, whether nonprofit, for-profit, or affiliated with colleges and universities, to explore Civic Hall and consider establishing a physical presence within our strategically located Union Square campus. Beyond providing access to state-of-the-art facilities, we also offer our tenant providers an array of capacity-building resources, including community-driven marketing and outreach, valuable employer connections, collaborative fundraising opportunities, and a comprehensive suite of support services designed to bolster the success of their students.

Civic Hall simplifies the process for companies and organizations looking to collaborate with both our onsite training providers and our dynamic entrepreneurial community, facilitated in partnership with the New York Tech Alliance.

We work across the entire ecosystem to establish cohesive systems and structures for coordinated outreach to employers. Meet Our Anchor Tenants

Starting in November 2023 and ramping up with additional programs throughout the year, LaGuardia Community College will offer several high-demand digital and technology education programs including cybersecurity, computer and IT network programming, digital marketing, and basics in accounting and Microsoft Office courses. They will develop educational and upskilling pathways between their programs and other training and education providers co-located at Civic Hall, including with Apex Technical School.

The Data School is a data analytics apprenticeship program run by The Information Lab. The program trains consultants to become advanced users of leading business intelligence platforms, Tableau and Alteryx. During their time at The Data School, consultants have opportunities to work with top clients such as The Vanguard Group, JLL, Johnson & Johnson, and Paramount Global. Building on the program's UK success, The Information Lab is now launching an expanded Data School campus at Zero Irving's Civic Hall. Their inclusive recruitment stands out, focusing on aptitude over experience, emphasizing professional growth and career advancement.
