    The Night Stalker doc nicely sums up the unearned arrogance of LA. Months of investigation, nothing. SF solves it in weeks. LA, of course, criticizes the tactics used.

    Love this move. Glad it happened. Seeing his improvement in the outfield from game to game was fun. Adds a lot of flexibility.

    The Padres are bringing back Jurickson Profar on a 3-year deal, sources tell and me. Profar adds to an already excellent offense and brings a utility dynamic that should be very useful on the bench over a 162-game slate. He’ll play “everywhere,” a source said.
