Sounds alright, like a couple of the band members are in the room and the others are next door and Josh is kind of lingering in the doorway.

One of the noisiest pressings I own, even after multiple cleans. I use the same cleaning process for all my records, which usually works very well, so I don’t know if there are particulates stuck deep in the grooves (due to the cheap paper sleeves) or the pressing is just bad. It’s still listenable but not good for the price. Everything just feels like it is lower quality than prior albums (i.e. cheaper materials). Also, the instrumentals sound very mashed together, sometimes things sound messy and it’s hard to isolate the different instrumentals.

I don't see any difference between the EU and US green version...

Curious, anyone else have warpage issues?

I pre-ordered the red and silver, both had warping. Label is very good about responding and helping, but...

Got the blue copy first, had chrchchrchchrch-noises on first track, side2. Second shot was black, had a scratch on last track side 3. I’ll skip this album because it’s not that amazing to me.

Is there a song on side D? It isn't mentioned on the sleeve?

Apparently the packaging for the LP isn't great, has anyone else had this experience? Could put me off buying a copy if it's a common problem.

Similar to others, my vinyl is flat, centered, and clean with minimal to no surface noise. Sonically, there is often a lot going on, which can lead to some of the muddy descriptions below IMO. Sometimes the vocals are crisp and clear, sometimes they're layered and can get trapped in the mulit-instrumentation and production. Overall, nice sound and on par with previous QOTSA vinyl releases.

This record is pretty great. Dead flat, super clean and musically and mix wise, stellar.
