It begins with me signing a rental contract with X.

Soon, we begin a routine. I frequently receive mail correspondence for X and every 2-3 months I go drop it off at a nearby cafรฉ for X to pick up.

The months go by and I realize we are all happily sharing the same address for which I continue to happily pay for every month without any form of receipts.

I start to become suspicious and investigate. I confirm X is enjoying the tax-free lifestyle.

I decide to move to another place and announce the news to X that I will be leaving at the end of this month.

X is furious and demands 4 months of rents to be paid for ending the contract early.

I say sorry, canโ€™t do.

X runs to CTT and sends me a letter by registered mail demanding 4 months of rents.

I drop the bomb on X and ask him for proof of registration with finanรงas and receipts.

X is now crazy furious and tells me we need to concentrate on the subject of terminating the contract early, not on the subject of finanรงas.

I say no receipts, no 4 rents.

X is now beyond himself and asks me to pay him this monthโ€™s rent if I am staying in his house until the end of the month.

I remind him that Iโ€™ve already paid for it last month since rents are paid a month in advance.

X is now blinded with rage and loses his memory. Tells me he doesnโ€™t know what paying one month in advance means.

I restore his memory by sending him comprovativos.

X loses his mind and writes a long text message telling me what a horrible person I am for robbing his children of their lunch.
