what about this bill specifically do you so agree with? i mean the title is total bullshit, logical leap and such. as i understood it, the bill makes disruptive proselytizing a protected thing. which is a major nuisance to everyone and ostracizes people (a point to which you seem quite unsympathetic). but also, you say things like "blanket immunity" "protects them from the world" when referring to gay people, but does this law not do that EXACT THING except for religious people instead of gay people? and i truly don't know what you mean by "blanket immunity". discrimination happens, it sucks, it hurts people lives. trying to stem the flow of it's effects does not equal trying to gain immunity from the woes of life, despite the fact that a few bad apples want it to mean that (too often i see groups judged only by the worst .001%). is it not a compelling interest of our government to make sure its citizens maintain a basic level of respect for the betterment of society? you say "Creating laws to limit peoples freedoms..." but does reinforcing the rights of these evangelical religious types not reduce the freedoms of those that disagree with them? and please, i implore you to answer these questions because i am interested in the answers.
