Flaming zeichnet sich in Diskussionen unter anderem durch überzogen unsachliche Argumentationsweisen und das Zurückgreifen auf Beleidigungen aus. Es wird sich nicht gegenseitig zugehört und sich nur gegenseitig die Argumente Schlag-auf-Schlag gegen den Kopf geworfen. Flaming besteht in großen Teilen aus überzogen provokanten Aussagen.

Kein Flamebait
Ein Beispiel könnte hier etwa sein, wenn ein Nutzer eine auf den ersten Blick grundsätzliche und zunächst harmlos erscheinende Frage zu einem kontroversen Thema stellt - und sich dann mit Provokationen und Beleidigungen für eine krude Ansichtsweise in die Diskussion stürzt. Hier dürfte klar werden, dass der Ausgangskommentar nicht mit harmlosen Hintergedanken verfasst wurde.

Kein Derailing
Derailing bezeichnet den bewussten Versuch, durch entsprechende Kommentare Diskussionen entgleisen zu lassen. Meist ist dieses Verhalten eng mit dem Agenda-Pushing verbunden: es wird in jedem noch so minimal relatierten Thread immer wieder versucht, auf dieses eine Thema zurückzukommen.

Kein Dog Whistling
Dog Whistling ist eine perfide Taktik, um kontroverse (& oft verwerfliche) Standpunkte so in Kommentare unterzubringen, dass sie nicht sofort auffallen. Es wird dazu kodifizierte Sprache genutzt, welche für die jeweilige Subgruppe eine völlig andere Bedeutung hat als man beim unverfänglichen Lesen denken mag.

Keine Häme gegenüber Opfern von oder Befürwortung von Gewalt, Katastrophen oder Verbrechen.
Gewalt ist kein akzeptables Mittel im demokratischen Diskurs. Die Befürwortung von Gewalt ist kein akzeptables Mittel im Austausch. Wir dulden keinerlei Befürwortungen von Gewalt gegen Personen oder Personengruppen. Das gilt auch für hämische Kommentare gegenüber den Opfern von Gewalt.

Kein Agenda Pushing
Als Agenda Pushing wird eingeordnet, wenn ein Account kontinuierlich und überwiegend zu einem Thema kommentiert und/oder versucht, normale Diskussionen zum Thema entgleisen zu lassen. Dieses Subreddit ist keine Plattform für Propaganda. Dieses Verhalten führt auf Dauer zu einem Ausschluss von r/de, unter Umständen ohne Vorwarnung.

Keine Reposts
Die mehrfache Einreichung von Beiträgen zum gleichen Thema ist untersagt. Erst bei einer signifikanten neuen Entwicklung zu einem Thema ist eine neuerliche Einreichung gestattet.

Keine veränderten Linktitel
Beim Posten eines News-Artikels muss der originale Titel verwendet werden. Wenn es zum besseren Verständnis beiträgt, darf ein Satz aus der Unter-Überschrift als Titel genutzt werden. Clickbait-Artikel dürfen gepostet werden, wenn der tatsächliche Inhalt den Artikel hierfür qualifiziert. Auf Twitter-Posts und oben nicht aufgeführte Einreichungen mit politischem Inhalt findet diese Regel sinngemäße Anwendung.

Kriminal- und Polizeimeldungen, die nur von regionaler Relevanz sind, werden entfernt. Relevanzstiftend ist hier nicht das Medium, sondern die Bedeutung der Tat. Ausnahmen können für besonders kuriose oder humorvolle Meldungen gemacht werden.
