A low effort post is any post that can reasonably be construed to be seriously lacking in content and thought. Self-posts should contain a descriptive title and well-constructed/thought out content in the body.
The purpose of a title is so people reading it (and looking for it) will know what they will find inside without any unnecessary clutter. Make sure that your title does that as best as possible by avoiding editorialization, misleading wording, or false titles intended as a joke. It also means avoiding tags such as TIL, X-Post, or "stolen from".
Hate speech and slurs refer to any posts or comments that personally attack and/or use demeaning language against any other group of people. Personal attacks and slurs are not tolerated in any circumstance.
Memes/image macros and similar content will be removed unless posted in a designated “meme thread” or on a designated "meme day" (typically Meme Monday or the day after a game).
Solicitation posts include any attempts at receiving monetary gain from the subscribers and readers of this subreddit. If you're making a post that is either seeking or offering any type of product or service you're likely in violation of this rule.
Self-promotion of a blog or original content is only allowed from active users of the sub. If you are an active user of r/eagles and are posting your own content you should be explicit that you are the author of the blog and in these instances posts should be limited to no more than 1-2 per week.
r/eagles does not allow its users to go into other subreddits to troll, bait, or antagonize other fanbases. You will be banned from here for your behavior in other subs. Mods and users of other NFL subreddits are welcome to contact the mods to report issues. Please include screenshots to the offending comments or posts when possible. We are particularly strict on this rule right after a game, so do not go into the subreddit for a team that just lost to the Eagles.
