I used to coast on my brakes downhill to maintain speed, but my pal (M, avid cyclist, not sure if that’s relevant lol) told me to instead do a ‘stop-and-go’ kind of technique, where you push on and off the brakes intermittently. Bonus points if you’ve got a better idea!
edit: I’m talking about brakes on cars/trucks/etc., not bicycles.
I've played a lot of amateur football with guys who play in a way I can't believe and even they are a billion miles from top-level professionals. If they play like that, I just simply can't imagine what an elite player can do. What makes them that much better?
EDIT: I meant European football. Although I guess a lot of this also applies to the NFL.
