Sharp Corporation is a Japanese multinational corporation that designs and manufactures electronic products. Founded in September 1912, the company was named after an invention of one of its founders Tokuji Hayakawa. The invention was called Ever-Sharp mechanical pencil. Sharp is known for its LCD panels. The company manufactures TVs and monitors, and is one of the biggest players in the display business. It has also made smartphones for the Japanese market. Sharp's latest mobile launch is the Aquos Sense 8. The mobile was launched in 4th September 2023. The phone comes with a 6.10-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 2400 pixels by 1080 pixels.
It comes with 6GB of RAM. The phone packs 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 1000GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Sharp Aquos Sense 8 packs a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Sharp Aquos Sense 8 runs Android 13 and is powered by a 5000mAh non removable battery. It measures 153.00 x 71.00 x 8.40 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 159.00 grams.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. Sensors on the phone include Fingerprint sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor and Accelerometer.
