Motorola Mobility was established in 2011 following the split of Motorola into two companies, with Motorola Solutions catering to the enterprise segment. Acquired soon after by Google, Motorola Mobility was sold to Lenovo in 2014. Motorola made its first Android smartphone in 2009, and its first Android tablet in 2011. Motorola's latest mobile launch is the Edge 2023. The mobile was launched in 10th October 2023. The phone comes with a 6.60-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 2400 pixels by 1080 pixels. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The phone packs 256GB of internal storage. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Motorola Edge 2023 packs a 50-megapixel (f/f/1.4, 1.0 µm-micron) + 13-megapixel (f/f/2.2, 1.2 µm-micron) primary camera on the rear and a 32-megapixel (f/f/2.4, 0.7 µm-micron) front shooter for selfies. The Motorola Edge 2023 runs Android 13 and is powered by a 4400mAh non removable battery. The Motorola Edge 2023 is a dual SIM mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and eSIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC and USB Type-C. Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, In-Display Fingerprint Sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
