A thousand dreams that would awake me

Donna Lange, Washington Woman,
Accused Of Using Her Breasts  To Smother And Kill Boyfriend

Take Care!

"A Washington woman is accused of using her breasts to smother and kill her boyfriend after an altercation at their mobile home.
Donna Lange, a 51-year-old woman from Everett, Wash., is believed to have  suffocated her boyfriend with her breasts on Saturday, Jan. 12, according to Seattle's KIRO 7 Eyewitness News. Deputies, called to the Airport Inn trailer park at 12:45 a.m. for a disturbance report, found medics performing CPR on Lange's 51-year-old alleged boyfriend, who was later pronounced dead at Swedish Hospital.
Kiro 7 reports that witnesses claims they saw Lange throw her boyfriend down in the back of the mobile home. She was later found by witnesses with her chest covering the victim's face. Police noted the size difference between Lange and her boyfriend -- she was 5-feet, 6-inches and 192 pounds, he was 5-feet, 7-inches and 175 pounds.
Other women around the world are known to have allegedly used their breasts as weapons.
In November, German lawyer Tim Schmidt claimed his girlfriend tried to  smother him with her 38DD breasts. Schmidt said she pretended it was a sex game, the Daily Mail reported. "I asked her why she wanted to smother me to death with her breasts and she told me: 'Treasure ? I wanted your death to be as pleasurable as possible,'" he said.
The 33-year-old woman was reportedly accused of "attempted manslaughter with a weapon," according to the Daily Mail.
A U.K. mother of three nearly smothered her boyfriend  with her 40LL breasts while they were having sex 2010, CBS reported via News of the World. She mistook his flailing for excitement, until she noticed that he had stopped moving and appeared to not be breathing.
Luckily,  the man regained consciousness, but the two broke up shortly thereafter."by unknown author

Kinks Supergroups In Concert

Here's the Kinks Super Groups In Concert that was syndicated in 1982.   Or Supergroups In Concert, as they spell it one way on the cue sheet and another way on the record label.

It's a compilation of two shows.  According to Doug Hinman in "The Kinks - All Day and All of the Night: Day-By-Day Concerts, Recordings and Broadcasts, 1961-1996,"  the "Los Angeles" portion of the show was sourced from Feb. 7, 1977 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium.  This was originally taped for a King Biscuit Flower Hour broadcast syndicated on April 23, 1977.   Hinman says, "Eight recordings subsequently resyndicated on LP as Supergroups In Concert Aug 7 '82."

The other show ("London")  is most likely the same Hippodrome that's up at W0lfgang's Vault.

That leaves two unidentified tracks.  My guess is they're also from Santa Monica, as they're in the setlist for that date and venue, and I think that Mr. Hinman is wrong about only eight tracks from the '77 show being rebroadcast; the number is probably ten.

Sound quality is fabulous!  I declicked the files one click at a time after cleaning the records with Titebond II wood glue.  Full 300 dpi scans of the cue sheet, promo script, and one of disc labels are included.  All commercials are tracked so they can be dropped by those that don't like them.  The only thing I left off was a test tone, other than that, this is a clone of the discs.

David Bowie Very Rare 22

First off if you were one of the ones who took the time to leave a comment, during this series I greatly appreciate it. If you downloaded these and did not wish to make a comment I don't mind that either. While I have been posting these, I've noticed how the uploading companies seem to be making it harder for all of us. This got me to thinking about the future of posting music. I don't see how they will ever stop it. They may try to make examples of some but that hasn't stopped it. But the power of the lobbying groups, hell we do this and face consequences. But rip-off the taxpayer and you can go right back to your mansion(but that's another story) A long time ago I remember reading where someone said just wait till China and The Soviet Union start their own uploading companies. Anyway I do this because I love music. And all the other bloggers do to. This Bowie series came from other sites that I found and thought they would be a good share. I do download from other sites. But because of that it makes it possible for me to honor requests. For example someone wants the Bowie Arnold Corns sessions. I did a search on this and could not find any working links. Not to worry because I do have this and will put it up shortly. So to all the brothers I never hear from any more who had been here since the beginning, and you fellow music lover as Ray Davies said "Let's all raise a glass to the rock stars of the past, those that made it, those that faded, those that never even made the grade, and those that we thought would never last."(From They Can't Stop The Music from Soap Opera)

Jim Murray - The Lost Album 1971

The Lost Album
 1971

The bootleg hasn`t yet begun and you know what kind of music you will be listening to. The famous and never forgotten "Quicksilver Messenger Service".
Jim Murray´s been one of the founders of QMS, but he left the band just before they released their first album at the end of 1967.

Recorded at Mickey Hart´s farm and at John Cipollina`s appartment.

This album was recorded and rejected by United Artists.

"Regarding the song titles, I just report here the titles that John Cipollina himself
kindly wrote on my master reel to reel back in 1979.
This is one of the best lost piece of music I ever heard."by the uploader

Kate Bush - 1979-04-29 - Amsterdam,NL

Kate Bush
1979-04-29
Amsterdam,NL

From Black Sabbath to Kate Bush...
But it`s Friday...
All the work of another week has been done (for most of us)

Can you "Feel It"?

"Bush's only tour took place 2 April – 13 May 1979, after which she has given only the occasional live performance. Several reasons have been suggested as to why she abandoned touring, among them her reputed need to be in total control of the final product, which is incompatible with live stage performance, a rumour of a crippling fear of flying, and the suggestion that the death of 21-year-old Bill Duffield severely affected her. Duffield, her lighting director, was killed in an accident during her 2 April 1979 concert at Poole Arts Centre. Bush held a benefit concert on 12 May 1979, with Peter Gabriel and Steve Harley at London's Hammersmith Odeon for his family. Duffield would be honoured in two later songs: "Blow Away" on Never for Ever and "Moments of Pleasure" on The Red Shoes. Bush explained in a BBC Radio 2 interview with Mark Radcliffe that she actually enjoyed the tour but was consumed with producing her subsequent records. A BBC film crew followed the preparation for the tour which was shown on the BBC Nationwide program as a 30 minute special."by wikipedia

After Some Awe discovered my clairvoyant like powers. Just look at my Bowie 8 post. Before anyone knew he was coming back I predicted it a good 3 days before(OOOOhh scary, aint't it?) So here are some things I'm expecting to happen in the new year.

Last Nirvana show...

man,oh man,it`s nearly 19 years ago.We didn`t even have the €...

" Nirvana’s last concert only lasted 80 minutes (one of the shortest shows from the tour). Kurt Cobain had a sore throat and eventually lost his voice during the show due to bronchitis. After this show the rest of the tour was cancelled.

Kurt Cobain Nirvana Final Concert Germany

They did not play “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and Novoselic jokingly alluded to the band’s demise:
“We’re not playing the Munich Enormodome tonight. ‘Cos our careers are on the wane. We’re on the way out. Grunge is dead. Nirvana’s over…our next record’s going to be ahip-hop record!”

Twelve songs later, after Cobain’s throat wrenching version of “Heart-Shaped Box”, Nirvana left the stage forever…"by feelnumb.com

13.  Promo Spot

This was the third part of a three cd set of a Labor Day radio special, featuring sets by Stevie Nicks, Kansas, and the Moody Blues.  I only have the Moody Blues set.  It appears that the common theme is that the bands were all recorded at the Whisky A Go Go, a small Los Angeles nightclub that holds about 250 people.  As such, the room ambience is different from the usual Moody Blues "amphitheater" sound; you really feel they're close to the audience.

The syndicating network is Entertainment Radio Networks, which is much less common than King Biscuit, Westwood One, or NBC's The Source shows.

The cue sheet has "Question" identified as "Christian."  There is a song listed after that as "Ceasar," which is presumably "See-Saw" (as in "Ride My See-saw", and yes, "Ceasar" is not spelled correctly).  It is likely that the performance continued on after "Question" and that further song(s) were cut to fit the one hour format of the show. .

I left in the X Files premiere commercial because I liked the X Files.  The other commercials were edited out.  I repaired a few minor digi-glitch pops and normalized each track.

300 dpi scans of the cue sheet and disc are included.
