Civil liberties in Tibet have been severely restricted, and the exile community has sought to raise awareness of the plight of Tibetans and the impact of censorship and surveillance. This session with Lobsang Gyatso Sither, Tibet Action Institute Director of Technology, will discuss internet freedom in Tibet and the lessons and opportunities for movement building within and in the wider Asian region.
