Love it when he called in a Wasp and it just smacks to the ground from a 25 foot drop. Lmao imagine the USAF doing that with a F/A-18 just like "fuck it, you're gonna die anyways."
Edit: Its at the 2:00 mark.
That's the point where the training video pauses.
"Who can tell me what went wrong?... Exactly, it is essential to secure all loads prior to touchdown"
between that and driving off the cliff with the two marines while heroic music is blaring, the comedic timing of this trailer is pretty impressive
It's pretty standard UNSC procedure. Pelican stops 4m above the ground, drops a warthog with solders still inside that slams into the ground, troop bay opens and a mongoose drives out, almost topples over from the momentum and sudden drop. 4 marines follow, and takes fall damage when jumping to the ground.
All in good old Halo spriit.
This is exactly what convinced me they know what they're doing. The physical comedy was exactly what I remember from Halo Combat Evolved
I had a similar response. You can tell this is a patchwork operation those two have going on and it adds such a nice touch.
I feel like they could have enclosed the vehicles in a crate for authenticity but I don't know how difficult or worth it that would be.
Idk why I'm getting more Just cause vibes rather than Halo vibes.
Hopefully there's a really nice curated story experience.

Looking great, I did laugh at 3:07
"You're safe now."
Immediately drives off cliff with two civilian esque personal.
Seriously though, looking forward to the campaign and everything else Infinite has to offer.
The worst thing that could ever happen to a UNSC Marine is to get in a vehicle with Master Chief. It is 100% a death sentence.

This is what happens when you don't file a high risk activity form, or get a weekend safety brief.
Even worse a woman asks if that's chief but 2 men are in the 3 seater with chief, so he left her...
