Oh, really? The most important thing to me in all of this is probably clarity of dialogue. I never want to see subtitles again. A center channel wouldn't make a difference in this regard? The speakers will be sitting on either side of an 85 inch tv (they just barely fit, ~75 inches apart). Seating is 9 feet away. A center channel would be of no use in this scenario?

Yeah that's very similar to what I envision for myself. Except I'll be going for a 3.1 because the room is so darn small haha. I was thinking I'd get a renewed denon s760h and forget about it for 5-10 years
