This didn't happen today, the event occurred on Thanksgiving. But I only realized my mistake the night after.
So on Thanksgiving morning, I was meeting my sister, my sister's boyfriend (BF) and my parents at a Denny's for breakfast. I rode in BFs car with my sister to the Denny's, which for future reference is a silver Nissan Altima. This will be important later.
My parents were driving a uhaul because they were grabbing a lot of items the had in a storage unit and bringing to their new place now that they had settled in. One of the items was my Xbox One, along with three controllers and a Kinect.
We had a very nice breakfast, and at one point dad asked if I wanted to go dig the Xbox out of the uhaul. We both went, got the Xbox and the accessories, and I put it in BFs car to take back with me. We then go back inside to finish breakfast.
After breakfast as we're leaving, both me and my sister go to what we thought was BFs car, a silver Nissan Altima, while BF goes to an almost identical car two spots over. He just laughed and said, "yeah my car's over here guys". His car was apparently a higher grade model (silver Nissan Altima) and has a spoiler on the back, which is how he can tell. I should have realized, but this is where the FU happened.
We drive back, and it's the next night that I start looking for my Xbox. I thought I just left it in BFs car, so I go check but it's not there. It's not anywhere.
I then made the full realization. I put the Xbox in the wrong silver Nissan Altima. I made the same mistake of going to the wrong car twice in a row. I reverse-thefted someone's random unlocked car. Who leaves their car unlocked in a Denny's parking lot!?
That's my Thanksgiving FU. My family has been having a great laugh over my misfortune and has been jokingly calling me "Robin Hood". I'm not sure I'll ever live this down
TL;DR: Accidentally put my Xbox in an identical silver Nissan Altima two parking spots over, and didn't realize
I went to get a facial at this reputable spa I have already been at for the same treatment. Last time, the esthetician was new to the team so she was less intense, but this time, I get treated by the head esthetician.
Now she’s kind and great, but she managed to convince me to upgrade my already 100$ facial to a long effect peel that is 300$ after taking a look at my face. But she’s reassuring me, telling me I just have to do it another time in 6 months and then once a year. So I’m like great, she must know what she is talking about, after all she is the head esthetician.
Facial goes well, my skin feels hydrated and all. She asks me if I’d like her to bring out the products she recommends and used during the facial. I agree knowing the prices usually go from 25 to 40$. What I was not expecting was each product to cost in the hundreds!!! She convinced me that I needed them for my daily routine. She walked me to the reception with the 3 products she recommended. And my imbecile young mind fell for it. I bought them. Bringing my total to a thousand dollars. And I paid. That’s a whole plane ticket. That’s literally a fifth of one semester at uni. I hate myself. It’s too late to get a reimbursement. She is a great saleswoman, I’ll give her that.
If I could go back in time a twist my ear and pull myself out of that money sucking spa, I would. I don’t have a car so I guess that’s how it feels to get scammed on repairs. I wish I could make that money back T_T
TL;DR : I went to a spa and spent way over my budget by upgrading the facial treatment as per the esthetician’s recommendation, going from 100$ to 300$. And then buying expensive products she recommended, bringing my total bill to 1000$. All from my gullible stupid self, and her seeing an opportunity to get more money.
Hey everyone, I'll start off with saying that I am dating my significant other for over 4 years now. She is the love of my life, I definitely love her and I will do anything to make her happy. I am even saving up to take her to her dream trip and to propose to her there. I am an ex competitive athlete, so my entire life I've been eating right and working out, I did have an obese childhood but when I discovered sports I fell inlove with it.
Now, over the last few years she has gained a lot of weight, we are talking over 20kg when she initially was already a bit overweight. My type was always skinny and fit women but I really clicked with her and liked her that I was still attracted to her when she was a bit heavier than my type. Now however I just don't really feel the physical attraction. I never brought it up to her as I didn't want her to feel bad and I know it also bothers her as she can't dress how she wants and finding clothes is a struggle for her. She brought up that she wanted to lose weight but she couldn't afford the dietition she wanted so I pay for that for her (its a big chunk of my salary aswell) and I definitely know its a good dietitian that specializes in EDs and plenty of other things and I knew people who she really helped. I also do the majority of the cooking but she doesn't enjoy my "healthy foods" and only the cheat meals. I offered to take her workout with me and even pick up a new sport so that we will both be amateurs together but it didn't hold for more than 2 sessions. She is also perfectly healthy (as in no hormonal problems and such) and she is mentally healthy (which I am really happy about!)
Well due to my lack of sexual attraction we barely have sex, she is trying to initiate but I am just not into it. Today she asked me if I would be happy if she lost some weight and I said "I think you're pretty but you'll definitely be a super model when you get to your goal body". Then she asked me if the reason we have less sex is due to her fat gain and my stupid brain just said "I think its part of it"
And she doesn't want to talk to me as of right now.
TLDR I accidentally said that I am not attracted to my girlfriend of over 4 years due to her weight gain and now she doesn't talk to me.
