A milestone of sorts . . .

Turns out this is the 5,000 published post on the blog. Only took me 19 years to reach this goal . . . of sorts.

Special shout out to the 171 unpublished posts currently resting in my drafts. Don't worry little buddies. Some of you will eventually see the light of day. Maybe it will take another lockdown.

My cheeks are moist, my tea has been masking too long and I only have one question to ask on this day of days: whatever happened to mikeovswinton? And who was he?

Actually, that's two questions.

That's a nice early Xmas present.

A few judicious links here and there ensures that Ian Walker is at 3, 4, 5 & 6 in the blog stats charts at the time of writing. Nice to know that other people are reading his work . . . nice to know that more of his work is now online for people to discover after they finish Zoo Station, and want to find out more about him. (Which they inevitably do.)

Is it too late for an anti X-Factor style campaign to try and Ian get the Xmas number 1? Alas, it is too late. People will insist on searching google for images of Kevin-Prince Boateng's tattoos.
