a bit of dexys midnight runners for you today.its a session recorded at BBC Manchester so i believe ,for the John Peel show in February 1980.this is a great peel session it sounds fantastic.there are four tracks here and you cant not like it.captain skalett was wondering what they always carried around in their holdalls.i reckon it was something like in the briefcase in pulp fiction but who knows.any ideas anybody?whatever you think it was you have to play this loud,really really loud,make trombone noises when Geno is playing,enjoy the session and then leave a comment.thanks!

The Killjoys - Naive LP and Demos

a great post for you this evening courtesy of kevin rowlands punk rock alter ego.an album called "Naive" but featuring 7ish(sounds daft i know but youll see what i mean!!) tracks only ( 3 versions of johnny wont ......(one of which includes an interview) and at the time of writing dont have much more info on it.but for further enjoyment there is also a 4track demo included.its a great listen and one i know you will all like.so please listen,enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

Dexys Midnight Runners - Rockpalast 1983

evening all.to quench your musical thirsts this evening we have this wonderful recording from dexys ,which was recorded for the tv show rockpalast in 1983.considering all the boots that surface from that show they must have some archive!anyway this features 14 tracks and they're all great. a very good sound from this gig which i think all you dexys fans will love.so once again its time to listen, enjoy and leave a comment.thanks!

good evening everyone in interweb land.here we have the first of 3 dexys related posts today.its taken from a live show at the palace theatre in hollywood in 1983.the show (or at least this part of it) was broadcast on an f.m station so the sound quality is excellent.there are only 6 songs featured here but its still a great show.anyway i hope you all enjoy this and the next two posts.so play loud,wear a little wooly hat , enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

this is a great show from dexys recorded in LA in 1983.15 tracks here from mr. rowlands young soul rebels are here including my two faves geno and plan b.but no dance stance.oh well.its a really nice sound quality on this recording although the 'screamer' gets a bit annoying at the start of the gig!anyhoo its time to listen,then put on your little wooly hat and donkey jacket,carry a holdall everywhere ,enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!
