Holy shit twitter is going to get hacked so fucking hard. You don't open up that kind of a window into your systems and setups. Guaranteed there's stuff in there that opens access to other systems. I'm surprised that I'm surprised Space Karen continues to be so dumb.

For an excellent and amusing look into why fight direction is such an underrated and important thing, watch everyone who isn't fighting in this clip.

A hundred million dollar movie, and look at that shit.

Me too! It's I'll important to respect the roots and ethos of a character, and I think Batman mowing down more people than Rambo and Ebola combined is a consistent thing he definitely does. That's why they call him the Capping Crusader.

Yeah we planned it!

And then yup we did it!

And sure we took pictures of it!

But how dare you tell anyone!

Oh boy you think that's bad, I remember reading Sluggy Freelance when it first started. Started. It's a webcomic that's been running since 1997. I read it on a goddamn PowerMac in a computer lab my first year of university.

Now if you'll excuse me all this typing has tired me out, time to take some advil and have a lie down lol.

Wait, Sluggy is still going? I'd say that feels like a lifetime ago but it actually was. Getting old is weird.

Wish they'd gotten to Trumps election fund first.

It was based on a real story.

I know this is a decade late.

Lol

Better late than never!

I seem to recall finding that out sometime after, and so I'd revise my criticism to say the direction didn't make the premise seem believably executed.

Also if there's anything I've learned in a decade on Reddit, it's that people are way dumber than I thought.

Really, the only reason they (producers) don't do this is that it will create another niche industry they have no choice but to pay. Right now they flat-fee armourers or pay silly-low kit fees, but once they're regulated producers to be stuck paying market rate for screen-safe accurate replicas. It'll be pretty much the same as real guns so the action is the same, but the barrels will be solid, it'll cost a mint, and they'll hate that they have no choice.

I have flown paragliders a lot (before we had kids!) Nope, he was just doing a trick where you sort of summersault over the wing, didn't have enough speed/momentum and fell in =gift wrapped. The most dangerous thing to happen, apart from landing in surf at the beach as the waves can wrap the (nearly unbreakable) string around you and decapitate or amputate bits.

Note to self, paragliding at the beach is now a hard pass.
