My (now) wife and I were recently in your beautiful country to get married. And we had the best time ever. We have been together for years and when we got engaged at the start of the year everyone jokes it would be a long engagement and we would never get married… I said let’s do a destination wedding and listed places like Thailand and Bali, which was automatically shutdown. As soon as I mentioned Fiji, I got her attention and then the ball started rolling.
Majority of our stay was at the outrigger, where we had our ceremony and reception. This was the most incredible experience I could have hoped for. Not just for the day but the whole stay at the outrigger the staff, food and venue was amazing. We had a decent number of friends and family join us (most stayed at the outrigger) and we haven’t heard a bad review from anyone.
We had a couple of nights at the Sofitel, also very good but we never felt as “at home” as we did out the outrigger.
We have some amazing memories and we are planning a return for our 1 year anniversary to enjoy your beautiful country without the stresses of organising a wedding. I do say stresses but that was 100% on our part and not from the resort, they did more than enough to make everything flow smoothly(which it did)
From our hearts we say a big Vinaka
I am pretty sure I'm about to get some nasty comments 😇 bracing myself!
I know Japan sells masks made out of sea grape POWDER but am just wondering if it would be weird to blend it and apply it raw.
