This cover really irks me. For one, the lady stepping out of the radium shower ("So good that it tingles!") is actually really rather nicely drawn. It's not often these magazine covers have a dame in a wish dot com outfit either. It's just what's going on in the background that ruins it for me.
I take it then that the premise of this story is that the fucking freaky baby-faced goblin leering at her is somehow capable of turning the clock back for these withered Boomers, yes? I don't much like the look of that one in the blue on the right - she looks like she's ready to goose that man with the single crutch. She probably knows that because he's using a walking aid that he can't get away from her that easily too. Salacious vixen! Are those geriatrics supposed to be smiling at her because I definitely get a hint of grimace with a soupcon of joint pain. And what is the deal with Ole Green Eyes there?

I once did something stupid because of a contractor. I warned him it was stupid, explained why it was stupid and he told me to do it anyways in a very condescending tone. I did about $40k in damages in less than 20 minutes. He took my advice after that.

He copied it from a book (not traced, just close observation and trying to recreate it as close as he could). He has an eye for small details and he loves insects (and spiders, and worms, and everything else tiny and alive). He chose a bedbug to put in my bed because he knew I would recognize it and that it would make me recoil in horror. He wasn't disappointed.
