Every time I host or attend a big holiday dinner, there are tons of leftovers and all the guests are encouraged to take food home. Usually the hosts scrounge around for containers they may or may not have, but I’ve been bringing my own the last couple years and it works out great and is always appreciated. Bonus if you bring extra for other people too. Last year my uncle brought a big stack of plastic Pho containers, and everyone happily took leftovers home. I have been known to grab a large container at grocery store delis too.
