InDEEpendence Day

Tickets are now on sale for InDEEpendence Day at the Club shop priced at £10.

In addition, if your 'local' participates in Dee Promotions and is visited by Alison McQueen, it may also be possible to order your tickets from there.

As for the gig itself, Tay's Got Talent Winners have been added to the InDEEpendence Day line-up!

Hot on the heels of Diversity's success on Britain's Got Talent, Dundee's own Pro Style Crew, recent winners of Tay's Got Talent have been added to the InDEEpendence Day line-up. This terrific act will add variety and exuberance to the show. With recent additions Baby Jane and Diva adding glamour to the event, the final line-up will see 12 acts giving their best for the Club's Youth Development.

In another coup, Wave 102 D.J. Charlie Duthie will co-host the event with Cohn O'Dea and our very own Bobby Brady.

The finalised line-up will be:

RINGER, MAFIA, THE SNAPPIN' TURTLES, THE BENTHAMS, SUNSTORM, BABY JANE, THE OUTSIDERS, MR. SPIDER, THE FINAL STAND, DIVA, REVOLVER and PRO STYLE CREW.

A great day is in prospect, and Dee4Life, the DSA and Development Club would urge fans to support the event, the proceeds of which will go to the Club's Youth Development.

Please note, tickets can be purchased by cash only, and a strictly over 18 policy will be applied at the venue.

DSA Tops will also be on sale at the venue..DSA Top

Fife Dark Blues

The Fife Dark Blues are looking to raise funds for the supporters club by allowing businesses to advertise on their website.

The monies raised from this venture will go towards Dundee FC's youth development program.

If you know of anybody who is looking for advertising space, then please ask them to contact Ross Barrie, Fife Dark Blues at the following: secretary@fifedarkblues.co.uk or call him on 07814 865932.

Central Dark Blues Band Nite, Dunmar House Hotel, Alloa

Here is a selection of photos from the 'Band Nite' fundraiser for the Central Dark Blues held in the Dunmar House Hotel, Alloa on 17th April.

The band of mainly Dees, played two fantastic 45 minute sets and helped raise a tremendous £674 for the club.

Around 190 people attended the event and a great night’s entertainment was provided for all ages. Even the bouncer (John Smith) enjoyed the music on offer, but it has to be said his hearing aid was switched off during the whole evening!

Congratulations go to all the raffle and 'Spot-the-Team' winners.

Thanks have to be passed to the band for providing the evenings entertainment and also to Alan Scott and Martin Mullady who organised the event and made it such a success.

Further thanks must go to David (the bands music guru) for providing PA, the Dunmar House Hotel who provided the room and buffet and finally to all the punters who attended and made all the club members feel really old!

The Central Dark Blues meet on the last Thursday of every month in Smith's Bar and Restaurant, Milhall, Stirling (next to Arnold Clark Nissan and Renault, just off A905 (Kerse Road)). We welcome all members, old or new to attend.

The next meeting will take place on Thursday 30th April at 8pm. More information can be found on their website:
