Dean Clifford and Bill Noble: Emails

This day last November freeman-on-the-land guru, former active Stormfront member, and general nutter Dean Clifford was taken into custody during a seminar he was conducting in Ontario. Since that day, Clifford has been claiming that his release would be imminent as would be his take-down of the political and economic system in this nation. And despite his continued incarceration, which now includes charges that he made threats to directed at the police and court officials while in custody (we have at least one of those recordings saves), Clifford continues in his delusional belief that he has them all right where he wants them and that there will be hell to pay when he gets out. His supporters remain credulous in spite of all available evidence.

Today those supporters who run the website provided the world with a gift; 9+ hours of Dean Clifford's pseudo-legalistic mumbo jumbo. We here at ARC humbly would suggest being subjected to more than 9 hours of Dean Clifford would be far worse than the torture he claims that he has undergone while a guest of Her Majesty.

That noted, we thought we too might provide a gift to mark this auspicious occasion.

A couple of years back, some one or some group hacked a number of racist websites and email addresses. It just so happens that three of those email addresses belonged to Bill Noble, someone our readers are very familiar with. And Noble kept up a fairly extensive correspondence with Clifford from 2007 into at least 2011. Some of those correspondences were related to Noble's own case in which he was ultimately found guilty and sentenced to a term of four months followed by three years probation (which he immediately violated soon after his release with no apparent consequence):

Oh, perhaps we should have mentioned that Bill Noble once (and maybe still does) uses Adolf Hitler as means of identifying himself.

The name that Clifford signed as, "Sovereign" is significant in that it is what he used as his online moniker on Stormfront. In some of the emails that will follow Clifford will refer to posts he made on Stormfront. Since some of his acolytes refused to believe that Clifford (who threw quite a temper tantrum when we suggested we would be writing an article about him) was the racist we proved him to be, maybe this provides sufficient proof, however there will be more so stay tuned.

Update on Kyle McKee: March 30, 2010

We've been receiving bits and pieces of information concerning Kyle McKee who was recently released from the Calgary Remand Centre (he had been incarcerated on attempted murder and weapons charges, though those charges were dropped when McKee plead guilty to being in possession of bomb making materials). One message we received stated that McKee was seen speaking to a woman at an apartment complex and that McKee had grown out his hair.

Today McKee, or someone claiming to be McKee, posted a message on Stormfront today in the thread in which Paul Fromm announced McKee's release. We write, "someone claiming" based on the fact that Natalie S. had posted a couple of messages in February using McKee's Stormfront account. So how can we be sure that it is McKee this time?

Well the functional illiteracy pretty much confirms that it is McKee writing (friendly suggestion, Kyle, is that you let Natalie S. proof read your posts before you publish them).

McKee appears to be pretty smug, doesn't he? But then considering he has beaten attempted murder charges and weapons charges, isn't permitted to associate with two people only (the target of the bombing and his then 17 year old co-accused) and he only has a single year of probation, we don't know if we can blame him.

Except....

Turns out, there are a few other conditions imposed on McKee. First McKee has been given a 10 year firearm prohibition. Second, and more interesting, is that it's been reported that one of the conditions for the Crown dropping charges was that McKee would provide information about his fellow travellers. As the charges were dropped, we can only assume that he lived up to his side of the agreement.

The waters are still a little muddied for other "White Nationalists." While Paulie was trumpeting McKee's release on Stormfront, he was doing so on his Facebook page as well. It appears that not all completely trust that McKee is completely innocent of the crimes for which he was charged, a double sin considering he was accused of attacking other members of, "the Movement":

The entire truth hasn't come out yet? It seems that Paulie might know more about the case than he's made known. Perhaps he'd be willing to sit down with police investigators and provide them with that information? After all, we can't have people bombing others now, can we? And goodness knows that Paulie, as a well-respected member of, "the Movement" would not want to be associated with such unsavoury criminal activities.

As for McKee, he writes that, "the boots are back on the ground and and we are giveing [sic] this city HELL." Kyle, who is "we"? From what we determine, most of the founding members of the Aryan Guard have left. Ryan is gone. So is Dallas. We can't see Rob having anything to do with you. Bill Noble, while celebrating your release, is the moderator of a forum for an Edmonton based "group" (though it might be a stretch to say they're organized to any significant degree) that can't stand you or the Aryan Guard. You've got Marleau still, but really what is he worth? At best, you have a few teenagers.

That doesn't mean that you can't still get into, or cause, some trouble, but it does mean that the Aryan Guard and any new movement you try to start are lame ducks.

We hadn't heard much from RN for the better part of a year. We did follow his activities as much as we could online, but even there his activity, such that we were aware of it, was sporadic at best. In some ways it seems that he dropped off the face of the earth...... again. You see, there was a period of time that we can't speak about where RN was quiet for entirely different reasons. During that time, his friends in the Aryan Guard really didn't do much to help RN, at least from our point of view.

Imagine our *surprise when RN sent us this little message regarding his current feelings about the Aryan Guard:

I ceased all contact with the Aryan Guard and its associates in a time frame nearing a year in the coming months. Originally I figured spectators of the so called "movement" would catch on from the vine of childish gossip and drunken banter, but I am tired of waiting for this disassociation to be recognized and my name to no longer be associated with those I do not even pay notice to. I do not see eye to eye with the methods and typical lifestyles of many of those who seem to use partitions of this belief system as a cloak for their own selfish, hypocritical wants, and their apparent needs. There are some solid idealists out there entrapped within the denial that the methods being used have any long term positive impact, however, in the mass scheme of things, the mass of the movements followers are just as much sheep as those they fight against.

Its a major turnoff to anyone who actually has their minds fixated on a perspective of realism when you have people running around claiming to be soldiers when they have no discipline, claiming honor when they bare none, and claiming they are going to make change when they can't even comprehend a realistic approach to surmount life's obstacles.

So there you have it. According to RN, he has rejected the Aryan Guard and no longer associates with the members.

Just to be clear, RN is still a bonehead. However, we're more than happy to add his comments to the long list of criticism concerning the Aryan Guard and its membership, past and present.

The above message was left for us under the post regarding Craig Cobb concerning his firing from Xentel. We didn't allow the comment to pass moderation and hadn't initially intended to publish it, however given the recent posts by Bill Noble on Stormfront regarding the Cobb protests, we figured that it would serve as an interesting and telling counterpoint to the claims now being made by Bill Noble:


Here, Noble writes that the only reason why Cobb's residence would be published would be to harm him. He claims that anti-racists, "are well known for their firebombing and other forms of assault against their victims."

Look as we might, during the past decade we can't find a single instance of racists who's address has been who have been subject to any form of physical abuse or vandalism. When we look at the past 20 years, we find a single instance, that being the incident that occurred at Heritage Front member Gary Schipper's home. As for firebombing, we've yet to find a single case were that has occurred. You may try to claim the Zundel arson as having been committed by the ARA, however the only group to have ever claimed responsibility for that crime was an extremist and racist Jewish group with connections the JDL.

On the other hand, we can point to numerous examples in Canada alone during the last couple of years where anti-racists' residences' addresses have been published by racists, and those anti-racists were subject to assaults and firebombings. Jason and Bonnie Devine's home has been firebombed and vandalized on at least three occasions over the past two years. The apartment of the individual who organized the anti-racist rally in Vancouver on March 21 was attacked with some sort of incendiary device. Hell, racists are even attacking other racists, as the allegations concerning Kyle McKee suggest. And these are just a start.

During our research, we even came across an example of someone who's contact information YOU published was subject to harassment Billy:

It was only a matter of days before a Creator calling himself "Exterminance" took a trick out of Matt Hale's old playbook [we should mention that Noble, who not long ago was posting online as "Exterminance" was not a member of the Creativity Movement]. He posted an address, cell and telephone number for an Anthony Evola outside Chicago, "In Case Anyone Wants To Say Hi." Within hours, threatening messages had started to pop up on Anthony Evola's answering machine.

Just one problem: It was the wrong Anthony Evola.

Given this reality, we have to wonder what Billy means when he writes, "only if they taste their own medicine can they be made to leave decent human beings alone." What medicine did Mr. Evola have to taste, Billy?

And while we're at it, you're not saying that Cobb is a "decent" human being, are you? We admit that being decent can be somewhat subjective (one man's saint is another man's sinner), but were not sure how anyone who does this could be considered to be decent by most standards in civil society:

In another post, Billy addresses another Stormfront member who disputes the claims that Craig Cobb has ever advocated racial genocide on the website he created:

Well, there's a very easy way for our readers to determine the truth of Billy's claim here. While we will not provide the link to the site, we would invite our readers to type, "podblanc" into Google. There, you will find such charming videos as, "Skinhead beatings (best of)" which is a compilation of neo-Nazis attacking and beating minorities (you will also notice that these are often from behind and involve multiple neo-Nazis against a single, often much smaller, individual). You'll also find the video of Russian neo-Nazis who have kidnapped two people who appear to be from the Caucuses, cut off their heads and state that this is a warning of what will happen to other, "non-Russians" living in Russia. We managed to find videos supporting the mass murder of Jews. Of Muslims. Of homosexuals. And this is a site that was created and maintained by our friend, Craig Cobb.

But as we wrote, you needn't take our word for it. Check it out for yourself. You can also head on to VNN and take a look at what he posted there until he was banned (a bit of a spat with Alex Linder) including gems such as these:


Our favourite part of Billy's lament is that our criticism of people like Cobb, himself, the Aryan Guard and other groups is based on circular reasoning. The only reason why we think Billy is "evil" is because of his association with the Aryan Guard. The reason why the Aryan Guard is "evil" is because Bill Noble is a member.

Billy. Baby. That's simply not true.

While the links between the Aryan Guard and the National-Socialist Party of Canada are interesting, those links aren't the reason why we think you all are "evil" (a word used too much and often for the wrong reasons). That's more a case of like minded people coming together in their mutual douchebaggery. No, that we condemn the Aryan Guard has nothing to do with whom they associate with and everything to do with how they behave.

It was an Aryan Guard member who was convicted of assaulting a Japanese immigrant in 2008.

It was a member of the Aryan Guard who attempted to attack an city transit worker he lured into the compartment he was riding in, then attacking the police with the same knife.

It is the founder of the Aryan Guard who is currently behind bars on attempted murder charges.

It is a member of the Aryan Guard who has advocated murdering minorities, including children:


See. No need to invoke the NSPC to explain why you all are scum. You provide ample reasons yourselves why you should be loathed. We could provide more reasons, but I think you get the point.

Finally, and in a blow to Billy's claim that anti-racists represent some sort of great danger, even the boneheads don't believe that's true. On March 15, another well known Canadian bonehead posted a message on our blog. We'll go into more detail, and provide a context for her comment, at a later date, but for now we think the following excerpt should suffice:

Nobody thinks you are dangerous. You've had my email for years, and my last telephone number was in the phone book in Montreal.

We've been saying this for years, but maybe you'll believe one of your own. Who wrote this?


Why it's the lovely Tara Dribnenki, better known online as "love2hate" or "WindorForest" as has gone by for a few years on Stormfront.

Thanks Tara. How've you been? Still tone deaf? Can you still do that trick with the beer bottle?

Which brings us back to the message we were sent last week and which we began this post with.

Billy, you and we know who have carried out attacks, firebombings and in some cases murders. It isn't the anti-racists.

And to the person who left us the message, if you think for one moment you're going to intimidate us into silence, you've failed utterly.

Who Is Who in The Remains of the Aryan Guard and of W.E.B.

Considering the collapse of the Aryan Guard in late 2009, we thought we might begin our first article of 2010 with a very brief overview of who the key personalities are now and where they fit in to the two main groups in Calgary's changing bonehead scene.

First, the remnants of the Aryan Guard.

The year 2009 ended with the Aryan Guard in a bit of a free fall. The remaining founding member, Kyle McKee, was under arrest for attempted murder and weapons charges. The original members had left or had become inactive (such as Dallas Price and RN to name a few) leaving a few young teens left. There was also a schism which resulted in the formation of a splinter group going by the name Western European Bloodlines (W.E.B.).

Not long after the pipe bombing, the last remaining active Aryan Guard members (among them Bill Noble) disbanded the gang. However no sooner than the announcement that the Aryan Guard was no more was made, the decision was reversed and new leadership of the gang was made public. Bill Noble stated that he was no longer an Aryan Guard member, though he remains an administrator on the Aryan Guard forum. His "wife" Amy Fraser quit as forum administrator and asked for her account to be suspended. Two new administrators were introduced, "Aphrodite" and "Hans Krieger":

The Mainstream Media is Starting to Get It, But....

Looks like the mainstream media is trying to catch up to us now when discussing the threat posed by the Aryan Guard to Calgarians:

Scorched bricks and a parking lot full of pennies and bent nails.

If anything should serve as a wake-up call to the cancer in Calgary's midst, it's this: The remnants of two homemade pipe bombs that exploded harmlessly in a northeast parking lot.

Harmless -- that is, if you didn't own one of the cars peppered with shrapnel when the pipe bombs detonated just after dawn on Saturday, the blasts echoing through the sleepy townhouse complex on Rundlehorn Drive.

Those living in the Pineridge Greene Apartments were jolted awake, and so too should Calgary: The bombs, say police, were planted by members of a local neo-Nazi group, called the Aryan Guard.

Aryan Guard founder Kyle "Pitbull" McKee and a 17-year-old rookie member of the white-power group are facing charges of attempted murder.

And so, a group that once seemed more silly than sinister is now linked to sophisticated weapons, which could have easily killed, if a male resident of the target townhouse hadn't hurled the bombs into the parking lot.

If there is a bright side to this queasy turn of events, it's that the attack wasn't racially motivated -- it was either an internal Aryan Guard squabble or a romance turned sour, depending on who you ask.

The 29-year-old woman living in the townhouse says she has nothing to do with the neo-Nazis, and was targeted because she spurned the advances of a senior Aryan Guard member, who is "best friends" with the accused.

"He's stalking me," said the woman, who asked to remain anonymous.

But police investigators issued a statement stating both the bombers and the victims are white supremacists: "The victims in this case know the offenders and share similar beliefs and values."

Either way, Calgary is lucky.

In Europe, neo-Nazis have killed people with similar devices, trying to further their demented cause.

No one was hurt in this attack, but if the police allegations against McKee and his junior sidekick are proven in court, it shows just how far radical members of Calgary's white-power brigade are willing to go.

Sources say police found enough evidence in the suspects' homes to convince them the bombs were not a one-off experiment either. And so, the question must be asked, who were they arming themselves against?

If you're a visible minority, or of a non-Christian religion, or just a Calgarian who believes in a world where all people are equal, the answer is chilling.

To read McKee's online chat with other neo-Nazis -- most recently where he makes jokes about the anti-Semitic graffiti spree in Calgary -- is to glimpse a twisted mind.

This is the same McKee interviewed by this writer back in 2005, when backlash over his display of a Nazi flag from a Kitchener, Ont., apartment balcony prompted him to say he was moving to Calgary.

That, in turn, prompted Calgary Mayor Dave Bronconnier to tell him to stay home.

"We don't welcome anti-Semitism and we don't welcome any group that intends to promote hatred against anyone," said Bronconnier. "Stay home."

Unfortunately, McKee didn't stay in Ontario, and while he failed to find the thriving Utopia of intolerance and racism he'd envisioned, he found a handful of equally narrow-minded souls.
They established the Aryan Guard.

Until this weekend's bombing, the Guard was more embarrassing to Calgary than truly scary, with an annual "white pride" march through downtown their main claim to fame.

But if the police charges are right, it's clear something more sinister has been taking place behind the scenes, hidden from public view.

Make no mistake, this isn't something clever or crafty -- any fool can go online and find detailed instructions on how build an effective pipe bomb.

But it takes a special kind of sick to actually construct such a device, and a murderous heart to leave it on the doorstep of a home, fuse burning.

McKee and his partner may end up in jail, if they're found guilty of attempted murder. But there are others who will take their place, if hate and racism are tolerated in Calgary.

The bombs were harmless this time -- but Calgary has had its warning shot.

We're happy that Mr. Platt (thank you for using ARC as a source for your article, by the way) and figures in the mainstream media are now going to take the Aryan Gauard, and we hope the splinter group W.E.B., seriously now and are encouraging the authorities to view the threat as seriously. However, we have to take issue with part of this article:

Tell that to the Japanese woman assaulted by a member of the Aryan Guard in August 2008.

Tell that to Bonnie and Jason Devine and their children who have been subjected to three attacks on their home and family: first a firebomb, next graffiti, and most recently a brick through a window and more graffiti.

Tell that to the other people who have been assaulted but who didn't file a report for fear of reprisal. And Tell that to the anti-racists who were assaulted during this past spring's "White Pride" march. Aryan Guard and W.E.B. members were photographed assaulting anti-racists. The police did nothing.

Tell that to the people who frequent the Jewish centre that was vandalized.

Tell that to the people of colour who were physically intimidated by members of the Aryan Guard on the C-Train.

Tell that to the people complaining about members of the Aryan Guard flagrantly violating the terms of their release (Bill Noble, for example) an the police doing nothing about it, thus emboldening Aryan Guard members who then escalate their criminal activities. Like, oh we don't know, creating bombs.

We've been TELLING people these truths for years. Now they finally appear to be listening.

Better late than never.

Now, once McKee and the "unnamed" minor are captured, will that be the end? Will the media and the police ignore the remainder of the Aryan Guard and W.E.B. members as they gear up for reprisal attacks?

We ask Calgarians, and all Canadians, to hold the police and the media to the fire. Don't let them become complacent again.

Neo-Nazi bombing suspect nabbed

One of two suspects wanted in connection with the detonation of homemade bombs at a northeast apartment complex has been arrested.

Mounties in Portage la Prairie, Man., have arrested a 17-year-old youth, on warrants for attempted murder, possessing, making or controlling explosives, and possession of a weapon or imitation for a dangerous purpose, say Calgary police.

The teen, who can't be named under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was nabbed while getting off a bus in the Manitoba town last night at 6:15 p.m.

Saturday's detonation of two homemade bombs is thought to be linked to infighting between associates of a neo-Nazi group active in Calgary.

The founder of hate group Aryan Guard, 24-year-old Kyle Robert McKee, is the second suspect in the bombing and remains at large with warrants on the same charges.

He is described as 5-ft.-9, 140 lbs., with a slim build, blue eyes and shaved head.

"Dead Nazi" Day

Boneheads have a bizarre attachment to Rudolph Hess, a Nazi-era politician whom even his contemporaries within the Nazi Party felt was lacking in terms of intellectual and political talents. Increasingly marginalized within the Party, Hess decided that he would prove his worth to Hitler by flying to the UK to hammer out a peace deal. He failed miserably and spent the remainder of the war in a British prison. At the end of World War II, Hess and other surviving Nazi leaders were put on trial for war crimes. During the trial Hess was noted for his strange behavior and mumbling testimony, so much so that even his co-defendants would make fun of him. He was eventually sentenced to life in prison; he ended his sad, pathetic existence in 1987 when he hung himself in Spandau Prison.

Hmmm, a failure and a loser. We think we know the attraction boneheads feel towards the late Herr Hess. He's like a mirror.

Well today boneheads are commemorating the death of Hess. So should we. As the boneheads have tried to co-opt March 21 (and, in our mind, mostly failed), we feel that this is as good a day as any to make our own (yes, we know that they also celebrate Hitler's birthday, but since most people celebrate 4/20 for very different reasons, we think that the boneheads have already lost that battle).

We then humbly suggest that we rename today, "Dead Nazi Day." Sure, it doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, but until another better suggestion is offered, we like this one.

Anti-Nazi Rally in Germany Ahead of Hess Death Anniversary

The small southern German town of Wunsiedel held a Festival of Democracy Saturday to register its opposition to neo-Nazis who have demonstrated in the town in years past to commemorate Nazi leader Rudolf Hess.

In nearby Warmensteinach, around 2,000 gathered for a more general protest against the far-right National Democratic Party (NPD) and to demonstrate against the sale of a local cafe to the NPD.

From 2001 to 2004, German right-wing extremists gathered in Wunsiedel to mark the day of Hess's death which falls on Aug. 17, until a court ban put a stop to the celebrations. Hess lies buried in the northern Bavarian town.

The Wunsiedel democracy festival was being held for the fourth year in a row to express support for the ban, which the right wing has tried to overturn.

Local police said NPD supporters had largely adhered to the court ban. Three carloads of party supporters had been stopped and told to turn around, a police spokesman said.

After World War II, Hess, who was Hitler's deputy until flying on a mysterious mission to Britain in 1941, received a life sentence at the Nuremberg Trials. He hanged himself at the age of 93 in Spandau prison in Berlin in1987.

So, What Has Robert Reitmeier Been Up To Lately?

Well, for one thing, getting really, really poor quality prison-style tattoos. Really poor. We've seen prison tattoos before and most are far better then these. No self-respecting member of the Aryan Brotherhood would be caught dead with such a miserable excuse for a swastika tattoo.

Oh, and nice wife beater farmer's tan Robbie.

Less than a year ago, Reitmeier was shot by Roland Ashley Warawa, in a "random" incident which was a result of "mistaken identity" (and if you believe any of that, we wonder if you'd be interested in purchasing a slightly used bridge in Swift Current). We speculated at the time that had Reitmeier sought medical attention immediately and not withheld information about the shooter, Warwa might have been captured before he shot and blinded Brazilian student Jose Ribamar Ribeiro Neto.

One would have thought such a brush with mortality would cause an individual to reassess his life and commit to making some fundamental changes. Sadly, such was not the case for Reitmeier. In fact Reitmeier seems to have further entrenched himself within the world of neo-Nazi extremism.

Although he ws one of the founders of the Aryan Gurd, Reitmeier and a few others evidently didn't think that they were proactive enough (read "proactive" as "violent"). As a result an offshoot was formed that they called Western European Bloodlines (or Brotherhood depending on whom one talks to) or W.E.B. That offshoot seems to have become an autonomous entity, but the membership of the new group still had a working relationship with Aryan Guard members as evidenced by their participation in the "White Pride Day" march on March 21 of this past year (Reitmeier, Brent Golding and a few other W.E.B. members also seem to have been involved in the majority of the assults committed by the Nazi side). Well, it seems that the working relationship might now be bust:

We used to all drink at this bar called "the crazy donkey" where this indian and the victom also drank at. now I might tell you all abit about this part of town. it is one of the highest crime parts of the down town and the bar is right across the street from a drop in center where all the homeless and drug dealers can all eat and live of the backs of the working class. the indian that made the 3 statments is a drug user and a suspected drug dealer. Pretty much what it comes down to is our brother rob was arested because he is a skinhead. There is no real evidence other than the rambelings of some indian. Forensics came back with nothing and are only really going on the statments of an indian trying to get out of a charge. He would really like it if anyone took the time to send him a letter of support. We have been sending him money every week but I thought it would be nice if some more people could at least right him a letter. so here is his address

Might make for a lively annual Aryan Guard BBQ should the W.E.B. members make an appearance.

We find this split to be most intriguing. We also wonder which way individuals such as R.N. will go. He was a die-hard Ayan Guard loyalist, but W.E.B. is a little more inclined to overt violence which R.N. has shown himself all too willing to participate in and even initiate.

It might be too early to say so, but we'll engage in a bit of speculation now. The W.E.B. members appear slightly more inclined towards overt acts of violence; this may draw like-minded Aryan Guard members into W.E.B. diminishing the Aryan Guard. In the meantime, W.E.B. members, not among the smartest cookies, may be dealt with as it's hard for the police to ignore continued violent attacks especially if made known to the media.

To bookend this article, we'll start as we finished. Today we noticed the following status update on Rob Reitmeier's brother's Facebook:

Brytny, you are the dumbest cunt alive, you try to kill my fucking BROTHER? Fucking dumb slut, you're lucky I'm not in Calgary, fucking whore.

We had thought the brother was engaging in a bit of rhetorical hyperbole until he wrote the following reply to someone questioning his post:

[She] stabbed him in an artery, on the back of his leg, he had to gethis muscle sewn back together.

So let this be a lesson to those interested in joining a group such as the Aryan Guard or W.E.B. If you believe that minorities are running around assaulting and killing white Canadians and that joining a racist gang is a way to protect yourself and show your, "White Pride," we can assure you that there is a far greater chance of being assaulted and/or murdered by one of your "brothers" or "sisters."

Why We Do What We Do: "Apparent" Racial Attack in Courtenay, British Columbia

We don't believe for a moment that boneheads and racist extremists are going to take over the Canadian government, though conservative groups and websites (such as Free Dominion) mock the efforts of anti-racists by claiming that this is what we do believe. Our focus on extremists has more to do with the dangers they pose to individual Canadians. Throughout this blog we've shown ample evidence that this concern really is well founded; Aryan Guard members committing assaults and Toronto boneheads vandalizing a business and trying to intimidate the owner are only two examples. Sadly, we can add another example now:

One man has been arrested and more arrests are expected, RCMP say, following a vicious assault in Courtenay, B.C., that police believe was racially motivated. 

Jay Phillips was attacked Friday in the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant by three young men. A video of the incident posted on YouTube shows Phillips, 38, fighting back as he's surrounded by the trio. It's not known who shot the video or posted it on the website. 

Phillips, who is black, said the attack was unprovoked. 

He said a truckload of men drove by and started shouting racial epithets. "We're going to kill you, we're going to lynch you — really vile stuff." 

Phillips said the three men, who appear to be in their early 20s, circled back and confronted him. 

The men "got out of the truck, surrounded me, still calling me names, threatening me, threatening my family, saying this is our white town and you're not allowed here — stuff like that. 

"Then they all came at me and surrounded me." 

In a news release issued Monday, police said they are reviewing video evidence and questioning witnesses, but preliminary investigation indicates there may have been a racial element in the incident. 

Phillips, who said he's the target of racism on almost a daily basis, said he felt compelled to report this incident to police. 

"There's a lot of young kids of different races in this town and they may not have been as fortunate as me and I'd like to take care of these kids," he said. 

"I think everyone should be allowed to walk down the street with their head held up and proud of who they are. Everybody."

Thankfully Mr. Phillips appears alright, but that is hardly the point.

If anyone has any information, please don't hesitate to contact the police (yes, we know, but we do still think it's important to go through the proper channels) and us.

UPDATE: Can't say that we're all that surprised, but looks like Aryan Guard member Bill Noble is providing excuses and justification for the assault. Guess what? The boneheads are the victims:

Paul Fromm Continues to Promote The Aryan Guard

Paulie has been in Alberta speaking at various "free speech" engagements this week. He was just in Edmonton yesterday. On Sunday, he spoke in Calgary:

This isn't the first time Fromm has promoted the Aryan Guard. In fact as the recent article from "The Intelligence Report" noted Fromm, along with Terry Tremaine, assisted in the formation of the gang:

"The Intelligence Report" of the Alabama-based Southern Poverty Law Center has written an exposé on Calgary's Aryan Guard in their Summer 2009 issue. We're happy to state that we played some small part in contributing to the research for the article. Others who contributed their time and knowledge include Jason Devine (spokesperson for the Calgary ARA), Edmonton Police Sgt. Stephen Camp (co-chair of the Alberta Hate Crime Committee), Valerie Pruegger, Constable Lynn MacDonald (hate crimes coordinator for the Calgary Police Service) and Cam Stewart (author OF a hate crimes report commissioned by the Alberta Hate and Bias Crime Incidents Committee).

MacDonald said the Aryan Guard has also received ongoing support from Christian Waters, a leader of the Canadian branch of the Brotherhood of Klans Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. Headquartered in Marion, Ohio, that group has emerged as the largest Klan organization in the United States.

The true danger posed by the Aryan Guard comes not from its public activities, but from its more clandestine ones. A man reached at the Aryan Guard's contact number refused to answer most questions during a brief interview, but repeated the group's opposition to violence.

Yet the group's history of criminal activity belies that assertion. According to the Calgary Police Service, the Aryan Guard has been linked to several assaults between late 2006 and mid-2008. The victims have included a homeless man, a gay community member, and a cab driver from North Africa, MacDonald said.
Writing about the latter incident on Stormfront on July 20, 2007, McKee — who'd been charged in connection with the attack, though he claimed a good friend was actually responsible — boasted about getting the case dismissed. "The reason being was that they couldn't make a positive ID because apparently everyone there was all dressed in combat boots with white laces [and] black flight jackets and all had shaved heads. So let this be a lesson to anyone who wonders why on earth all us skinheads dress so similarly. [T]his is another great reason. lol [laughing out loud]"

The incident that has received the most publicity involved an assault on a Japanese visitor in her mid-20s, Asako Okazaki, when she left a bar shortly after midnight in July 2008. A 17-year-old Aryan Guard member — who was convicted in March but has not been publicly identified because he was a juvenile — kicked the woman in the back of the head with steel-toed boots. According to court testimony, the attacker followed the woman out of the bar after making a disparaging remark about Asians. At the time of his arrest he was wearing boots with red laces — a skinhead symbol indicating he'd spilled blood for the movement.

The group's propensity for criminal activity is no surprise given that many members have histories of vandalism and assault. Two of the group's most prominent members, McKee and Dallas Price, faced assault and weapons charges in connection with a September 2006 confrontation in which one victim was hit with a wooden club and another was stabbed with a knife. Robert Reitmeier, also active in the group, was charged with attempted murder in connection with a November 2006 assault on a man who suffered skull and facial fractures. Member Bill Noble was convicted in 2008 of posting hate material on the Internet that primarily targeted non-whites, Jews and gays. A judge sentenced him to four months in jail and imposed limits on his computer use for three years, though Noble continues to post frequently on Stormfront.

The Southern Poverty Law Center has been instrumental over the years in the effort to combat racism and bigotry in the United States. Some of their greatest achievments on the legal front have included the successful suits against the Invisible Empire, Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, White Aryan Resistance, the United Klans of America, Christian Knights of the KKK, Aryan Nations, Imperial Klans of America and many others which effectively destroyed each group.

Perhaps now, with the Aryan Guard as the focus of an international publication, the gear of justice will start to turn a little bit faster.

R.N. Soon To Be Released

Though he's now 18, we're unable to name R.N. because the assault he was convicted of occurred when he was still a minor, however we will warn the public of his release:

CALGARY -- An unrepentant racist who attacked a Japanese woman in downtown Calgary for no apparent reason won't have to serve any more jail.

Youth court Judge Gordon Burrell agreed with Crown and defence submissions yesterday the teen has already served enough time behind bars.

Instead, Burrell placed the young offender, who can't be named, on a 500-day Intensive Support and Supervision Order to promote his rehabilitation.

But despite handing down the sentence which effectively gives the teen the maximum two-year punishment under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, Burrell said he wasn't optimistic the offender will reform.

"I anticipate it will take years to accomplish a change in his attitudes," Burrell said, of the white supremacist.

"I'm under the view more custody would not protect the public in the long term," he said.

"I even have my doubts that he will be rehabilitated under what the Crown has proposed ... I suspect we have a lost soul amongst us and there's nothing we can do."

The offender, now 18, attacked his victim last July 26, outside a downtown bar while she spoke on her cellphone.

He drop-kicked Asako Okazaki, knocking her to the ground, before kicking her some more.

Burrell noted the teen, an admitted member of the Aryan Guard, continues to hold his racist beliefs.

"His ... beliefs are deeply ingrained," the judge said.

"It is unlikely that he's going to change his belief system in the near future."

Crown prosecutor Karuna Ramakrishnan had sought the lengthy ISSO, to restrict the offender once he is returned to the community. Ramakrishnan agreed with defence counsel Jim Conway the 230 days the teen has served behind bars since his arrest last September, was adequate jail time.

She said his time at the Calgary Young Offender Centre has shown he continues to believe in white supremacy, having to be disciplined for a comment to an Asian staffer and being found with racist propaganda in his cell.

Burrell warned the teen such antics won't be tolerated at the Calgary Remand Centre, where he'll have to go if he breaches his ISSO, since he is now an adult.

We fully expect R.N. to end up back in prison as an adult given his attitude and propensity towards violence.

Whether the attack of a Japanese woman by an alleged white supremacist was racially motivated is irrelevant, a judge said Thursday in convicting her assailant.

Youth court Judge Gordon Burrell said while he heard evidence about the teen attacker’s involvement with the Aryan Guard, that information had nothing to do with his guilt, or innocence.

The membership of the Aryan Guard seems to change depending upon who you ask. Depending on the circumstances the Aryan Guard claims a membership of only 3 members, though on other occasions they've claimed as many as 15 active core members. We've narrowed the active membership down to the following individuals, in part as a result of a search of their Facebook group exclusively created for Aryan Guard member as well as additional research:

With the exception of member "R.N." those individuals in quotation marks are under 18 years of age and/or are using pseudonyms. "R.N." is currently 18, however as he is currently on trial for attacking a female Japanese immigrant in August of the past year which occurred when he was then 17, we will not publish his name. The remaining three Reitmeier, Sturrup, and Goldring are considered to be close associates (Reitmeier and Goldring appear to be very close friends while Reitmeier and Sturrup are members of what is likely a tiny offshoot of the Aryan Guard known as the White European Brotherhood, or W.E.B.).

Aryan Guard At It Again

Most of our readers are aware of the Aryan Guard's plan for another "White Pride" day rally on March 21. This information isn't exactly old news, in fact the mayor of Calgary has already said that the Aryan Guard will not be permitted to hold their rally on city property. We know that there will be at least a few members and associates who attended last year's march and rally, such as the young man currently on trial for assaulting a Japanese immigrant, the Winnipeg Nazi mom and dad who lost custody of their children only days after returning from last year's event, our favourite loose canon Tom Trenerry, foul-mouthed Nazi kitty cat lover Jason Harley, disgraced university lecturer Terry Tremaine and a number of others may have a difficult time attending this year's events due to legal issues of conflicts with current members of the Aryan Guard.

Yep, the boys of the Aryan Guard are planning another march. No surprise of course. They've even set up a Facebook group to promote it and currently claim that more than 70 of their brethren plan on attending. Of course time will tell whether or not the support they claim to have really exists. We might be wrong, but we suspect that much of the commitment they're receiving via Facebook is quite soft; when push comes to shove, a good number of those who say they'll be at the rally won't actually show. But then we'll see.

Well, the MSM picked up on the story today. The Sun Media tabloids in both Edmonton and Calgary published a story about the planned rally:

Odds and Ends: Special Holiday Update

Well we've had about all the turkey and Christmas cheer we can stand. How about a few updates?

First, we mentioned in an earlier, though now archived, article how the Aryan Guard may have stolen their Activist Values from Volksfront International's Ideals and Values page which considering the hostility between the two groups is more than a bit ironic(see here and here). Well Bill Noble, who we have to mention once again has not yet been returned to prison for flagrant violations of the terms of his release, has an explanation:

Noble is walking a pretty thin line here. On the one hand while the Aryan Guard (or what is left of it) is engaged in a war of words with Volksfront, Noble himself is friendly with a number of people in or associated with Volksfront in one way or another (Todd Conroy, Ciaran Donnelly, Glenn Bahr). Trying to keep the peace between two angry pitbulls that hate each other. In fact, we wonder what the Aryan Guard members think of Noble's frendliness with members and/or associates of Volksfront, the "A" brothers notwithstanding (though one source close to both D.A. and E.A. say that neither are members or are linked to Volksfront). Add to this he had to make this post on the Combat18 message boards, a group violently opposed to Volksfront, and justify plagiarism. Finally, he casually throws RN, who was the first webmaster of the Aryan Guard website before his own legal issues under the bus. How quick these people are to pass the blame on to someone else.
