Biografia:
A banda americana de power pop/bubblegum Lolas, do Alabama, foi formada em 1998 pelo vocalista e guitarrista Tim Boykin (ex-Shame Idols), o baterista Mark Reynolds e o baixista Walon Smith. Seu debute ocorreu um ano depois com o LP "Ballerina Breakout", seguindo-se "Silver Dollar Sunday", em 2001.
Ambos foram lançados através do selo Jam!. No intervalo entre as duas gravações, a banda fez algumas turnês e gravou uma versão bastante fiel de "Color Me Impressed", para o disco em tributo à banda Replacements, intitulado "Left Of The Dial" e lançado pela Facedown. Em 2004 surgiu "Something You Oughta Know", novamente pela Jam! (Johnny Loftus, Allmusic; tradução livre do inglês).
