Exactly this. I had a bunch of people lose it at me for calling it genital mutilation and saying it's nowhere near FGM. While true, it still is what it is and I wasn't speaking on FGM at all. Neither should ever be practiced.

Venues including those in Ireland and Europe are taking a 25-30% cut of merch sales now. Then you take out the label cut, manager cut, pay the designer, manufacturer and crew, the band are making only a small portion of the 40 that's charged. The criminal aspect here is the amount that gets taken from the artist.

Oh I understand that. This is my first car. I'm in my late 20s and used public transport/walked to work my whole life. The cost isn't the issue here because I'm, thankfully, financially stable enough to maintain the costs. It's the time cost that's getting to me. 5 months backlog means the system is broken. I believe it's been criticised in the dail this week even.

My tester today said they're flat out doing approximately 10 tests per day so just the system itself that can't keep up.

I bought the car this year and paid for the lessons, insurance, tax, nct and driving test. I'm not about to pack it in now for an e-bike that's for sure but if I was at the start again, I would consider one.

Due to the camber of the road, my car rolled back the tiniest bit and bumped the curb with one back tire when doing my 3 point turn. It was so light you could barely feel it but that's an instant fail. Lashing rain. 2 cars watching me do it.

I'll have to give this a try because I do need my car to get to work about twice a week (WFH 3 days). I've been taking or 2 buses to get there or when the buses don't show up a painfully expensive taxi.

I read today that those aren't her emissions but her jet's which is often rented by others. Still any private jet emissions isn't good but the figures in this article are skewed by ownership rather than their own number of trips.

There were huge production delays around the world but rest assured they did their best with the launch to supply the guitar internationally, not just the US. They're already ramping up production to meet demand going forward. They're producing them to a high standard so it takes a bit longer. I'd much rather that than people receiving guitars that aren't up to scratch.

I met Philomena Lynnot backstage at The Darkness concert in 2004/05.

I was 14 or so and my friend and I were waiting for my uncle who was working the pyro crew hence why we had backstage passes. We were just sitting chatting and I guess she noticed the two kids sitting by themselves and came to talk to us. Couldn't have been a nicer lady. She made sure we were ok and chatted with us for a little bit before going back to the people she was with.

A truly wonderful woman.

I ended up in a 1v1, last two alive with Poach in chapter 1. I'd seen him in the kill feed basically clean out the top 10. I'm decent but not pro level so I was panicking. I hit him a few times with ar shots then he built cover, healed up and launch padded on me. I hit him while he was in the air with a hunting rifle shot so he landed a bit further away and started healing. It was my only chance to win so I pushed then and there and he basically just beat me in a build fight.

I watched his stream back after and it went like "oh there's only one person left, wonder where they are...there they are. Oh he hit me in mid air, this might actually be a good fight...nevermind."

I mentioned in chat that it was me and he was very friendly and said I did well despite moments before saying it wasn't a difficult fight .

Yeah i just got on and it's completely messed up. I'm over rotating on all my quick shots. It's like all my settings are different. This is like the 10th time they've changed how the game feels on controller. For all the kbm complainers, I'd like to see how happy they would be to be forced to use a new sens that many times.
