  • Separate Severe Weather Warnings to be issued for coastal hazards

Scheduled Release Date: 18 November 2021

This simple change is part of a longer-term effort to improve the Bureau's coastal hazard services. It will result in more concise severe weather warnings and allow coastal hazards to be better distinguished from meteorological hazards and have greater relevance to affected coastal areas.
