One of those Facebook 'This was you a year ago' memories that just popped up on my timeline today. Nice to see that one year ago I was using what I now considered my *cough* forever darts. Less nice to see that they were once so clean and shiny. I think I might need to give them an overhaul.

I'm walking back from this previous statement. The Loxley Robins - for the foreseeable future - will be my dart of choice. I hope it works out for me.

Just like when you were kid when you would go outside for a kickabout after watching a cup final, I picked up my darts after watching today's World Championship Darts. I'm really enjoying the Loxley Robins darts now.

They are not just a novelty, gimmicky dart.

Gloomy Sunday?

Finally hit a 180 with my Harrows Graflite 24g. I've had them since the end of June. I only throw with them occasionally - maybe a bit more now - but it's always nice to hit a least one 180 with any darts you have knocking about.

Now, if I could only hit a 180 with my 28g Datadart brass darts  . . .

Loxley Robins

• Absolutely beautiful to look at.
• (For me) absolutely horrible to throw. Too smooth. I need a knurled barrel.
• All the more surprising to hit a 180 with them. Never again.

Late night shock

A totally unexpected 180. My first in about a month, and my first 180 with the recently acquired Darts Corner Firescar Darts (25g). 

I really haven't been throwing well for about four months now, so I'll take it.
