🤔por que es odio ?
I don’t want to sound rough but given your situation you should prioritize wherever offers you more chances to find a job . Though I love Fukuoka I think the city offering most job chances is Tokyo . It doesn’t mean whatever move you do now will be forever but being in Tokyo will give you some good entry point to make a better choice later in life
Didn't ask for advice about whether or not to move to Tokyo. Tokyo has an incredibly high cost of living, is more competitive for housing/nurseries/hospitals (anything), also, I don't like it. I have no desire to live there and anyway, I don't think it'd be as smart decision as you seem to think it is. The reason I asked this on Fukuoka subreddit is because I want to hear advice from people living there on how to get started in the city. If you don't have advice on that then ignore this post
I dont know how long you've been in Japan, but a good take you can take from my message is that : a job defines everything in this country, without a job you can't even rent a place other than a hotel or airbnb. That's why getting a job should be the first priority.
If you want to move to any place, there is a lot of cost: key money, deposit, and it usually comes with nothing (no fridge, no washing machine, no AC). As a rule of thumb take the monthly rent and multiply that x3 and that should be your initial costs for moving in.
If you use your savings going to Fukuoka but you hit a wall with no job opportunities then you will end up in a even worse situation, with no money, no place to stay, and you spent money moving around.
Assuming you still want to move, then your best option is to hit on a recruiter (most jobs in japan are privately listed) and line up as many interviews as possible so by the time you arrive you can just go from one interview ot the next.
As of where to stay?
the cheapest would be to go to an internet cafe or karaoke. you can stay the night at such places for the bare minimum.
You can also store your belongings in a coin locker during the daytime.
Life in Tokyo is cheap compared to other big cities world wide . Your salary is low 🤷♂️. You can easily land 20M. Per year jobs with the right amount xpernecie
When is he going to expose the esg/ green energy scammers ?
There are some very few academics who are there because they genuinely are interested in it. The rest are questionable at best, and would not be able to deal with real world problems.
best teachers are those who worked in the real world and then went to the academia to share their knowledge , you can tell the difference betweeen someone whose entire career has been teaching but never went out to apply it to the real world . That’s reality , nothing against you OP
🙌👏👏👏
I've worked with people like this so not a simple "broaden your horizons" situation. I'm currently job hunting and dealing with people like this.
OP believes the world is out to get her , job interviews , pubs , coworkers , the entire manosohere is against her hahaha hilarious .

4.3M with a family and mortgage? are you the only income ? D:
Yeah. We save around ¥40,000 a month after all bills and stuff are paid. My mortgage is cheaper than when I was renting.
Wow some good money management skills . Does this count after putting money into your ideco?
