Anne Loo was born and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado then attended University of Wisconsin, Madison receiving a B.A. in English Lit. She moved to Houston, Texas in 1994.
Anne only began songwriting in her mid-thirties. At the age of 43, she is releasing her debut CD, Perfect Rainy Day. Anne draws from a wide variety of influences in the genres of rock, folk, alt country, pop and jazz. Listeners have compared Anne's style to that of Nora Jones, Lucinda Williams and Ricki Lee Jones.
