WEST COAST TOUR

Hey pals,

We leave for tour in less than a month! You can check out the dates to the right of the page. We will have new shirts and new tapes (New 5 song cassette + our demo all refurb'd and out on Dead Broke Records!).

So yeah, west coast kids, smoke beers and hang, we will see you all verr soon.

So due to the border sucking, we didn't get to go on our mini tour of the Northwest. Apologies to all who were expecting us, and much gratitude to those who helped out with the shows we failed to play.

We did get to play a rad show in Victoria at the Troyler House (thanks to Tyler Akis for doing this show!) with SKIN COLOUR from Calgary and of course the illustrious UNFUN. The puke piles the next day were notably artistic. Then an outdoor day show at the Alf House! First outdoor show of the year! Stoked! Thanks to everyone who came out/ Bought us out of demo tapes (again).

We are planning on recording this weekend, so new tunez for y'all are on the way.

Thanks for liking our band. You all rule.

MRR DEMO REVIEW

"SIREN SONGS - Vancouver's answer to THIS IS MY FIST. Legs' vocals are a touch sweeter than Annie's, which can be either a positive or negative comparison depending on your perspective, but these songs are packed with the same endearing innocence and packaged with the same aggressive self-assuredness. It's a little lazy to review a demo by simply comparing it to another band, but in this case the comparison makes itself, though these raw reproductions of catchy punk songs will appeal to even those rockers who find melodic shits (and even that region rock stuff) to be off putting and/or wimpy. The pace is frenetic, even while the mood stays personal, which also helps them stand apart from the crowd. If they clean up their act and wipe off some of the distortion, SIREN SONGS will be an unstoppable force in the world of lefty-eyed dreamboat punk (see there? I made a new genre), but if they keep it dirty, they might just be unstoppable."
